From 2 Peter 1. 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust
And 2nd Peter 2.20
We “have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”. So how do we apply this?
God said of His creation that it was good, very good. Having looked at humanity and all the damage they could do through hate, selfishness and ignorance like with a big chess board, God knew His creation would outlast them all. Earth would endure through all the wars, bombs, chemicals and pollution mankind would bring upon it.
Earth operates just as designed. Just as the stars retain their proximities, and waves would push their boundaries. Things would freeze and places would melt, and others burn, but Gods plan is carried out to perfection through all the ages. God is supreme. God is able to reward the just and remove a people in defiance. Look at Egypt and Babylon of old. What about the Inca’s and the Myan’s or Jerusalem of old. Each one was removed by His plan and none withstood Him. God is just.
If God had to come back and redo something, as though He was caught off guard and surprised then He would not be God, and He could not of said of all that He made, that it was very good.
When scripture says that “God sent His Son into the world not to destroy it but to save it”, this is what He meant. Creation was never lost or fallen from the purpose of the Creator. Man was lost in stupid thinking, and from this man needed to be redeemed. God has never lost control, nor will there be some form of intervention in a physical sense or God must have made a mistake. Something would not be “good, very good”.
The intervention of God for all time is the gospel message “once and for all delivered to the Saints” for preaching of the Christ of the cross for”the Kingdom of God at hand”. Even now many who believe are pressing in”.
The purpose of all creation is for God to beget offspring uniquely like Him. Such are we who are born of the Holy Spirit and the Word of truth, the salvation of our souls.
1st Corinthians 15 talks of those born like Adam, and those of Christ who is a life giving spirit. Christ being the first and those who believe “in Him” are the firstfruits for God. It us us who no longer identify with the works of Adam but the gift given at the finished works of Christ at the cross. The cross is our saving and the focal point for all the works of God in us, and on our behalf, for all the Elect. We look to Him, to be more like Him. Everyone is “in Adam” or “in Christ”, alive or dead to the things of God, blessing or cursing. Even as scripture says that “God is able to preserve the Godly for blessing, and reserve the un-godly for judgment, and this is our choice
Adam associates with the old creation, Christ is the New Creation, our inheritance that we associate with, that need not be created because it is not a place, but a person, Christ.
The only begotten Son of God brings us His identity to put on. In the beginning was the word and the Word was God. The Word is a perfect representation of the original thought called “The Father”. The Father is only thought, but in Him is everything. Before He thought anything to be in existence He was in Himself. Everything he created exists within himself. As Paul had said “for it is in him we live and well and have our being. And the unspoken Word was there with Him. We, the elect were there too. We are the “for knowledge of God”. A spark in the eyes of the Father. A flash of the image of Himself.
So for those of us who believe the Word of God, the world is saved. God sent not His Son into the world to destroy the world, but to save it? He came and did that. John 3.17
1st John identifies those who are born from Him and those who don’t believe that Christ came in the flesh. Christ means savior and save is what He did. Those who do not believe that the saving took place, are not of God.
1st John 5. We have come to know that God has sent His Son and saved the world.
So the world will mirror back to humanity the condition of their hearts. But we have an exit. Scripture. A wormhole to the Heavenly Father. We have escaped the corruption that is in the world through the knowledge of Christ. In this way we are in the world, but not of this world. We see destruction but like those in the fire from Daniel 2, there was found no hurt on them, or us who believe.
While men slept is a prognosis of the condition of the Christian Church in America today.
Matthew 13.24 “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.” 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
The field is the world, the seed is the word of God, the bundles are false doctrines but the elect are gathered together to the Father through gospel invitation of “the kingdom of God is at hand”. Each one instantaneously, each one in their own order. (1 Corinthians 15.23)
Christ came preaching the kingdom of God is at hand and hasn’t yet retracted that invitation, but He will.
There are however many other messages that bind and put in bondage people together in bundles of false hopes. Like those looking for another saving on earth saying “look here and look there”. But Christ said to that bunch “do not go after them”. They are always looking to another saving because they just cannot accept the saving of the cross.
In John’s epistle he said that the Antichrist is coming. And when he had written that, there were many antichrists present even then.
But with each new headline catastrophe and government change we hear a new version of End Times. And if the antichrists were present then and were to become more later, we who are later are in the thick of it. The enemy who has sown his seed and went his way. who conquers and divides, has provided for us today a plethora of variations and conflicting views of scripture to keep us separated. This is why the gospel seems powerless.
We have more denominations with splintered views and fractures leaving their sheep wending their way aimlessly not knowing that today is the day of salvation “. And that today is the time of their transfiguration and not another. (2 Corinthians 3.18) today we enter the kingdom of God at hand. It is within our grasp. It is the modern Antichrist that speaks of another saving from another Jesus. It is the competitor.
With each new doctrine presented to the fold, be at the blood moon or the activity in Jerusalem, these obstacles keep the fold divided and looking at what is not good for them to eat. Why? Because it has no spiritual value for Transfiguration.
The counterfeit being the Antichrist with an anti-kingdom and a counterfeit resembling the true kingdom to a tee. Why? Because they use the same scriptures but in a carnal way. They take Heavenly things and manifest them in a carnal way on planet Earth and call them holy.
1 John says of these Antichrist, that they came out from us to manifest something different. Meaning they use the same instrumentations for their trade as we do for ours and that is the word of God. But our trade has trade-in value, the visible for the invisible. They keep the old And if there were many anti Christ’s then, then there are more now. The enemy has planted his seed and gone his way and today the wheat and tares mature together .
While Christ was here in the flesh He fulfilled and expired the old Covenant and establish the New Covenant founded on better promises as the new norm. Christ lives on now not in the flesh, but in His natural composition as the Father, being flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone of spirit and truth. The only begotten son of God . His flesh is the bread that we eat. And this is? The word of God. By this we are transfigured.
It is the church today that is left the higher ground of the New Covenant in the new Kingdom of God by faith and trust in The Invisible. It has reverted back to the lower ground of needing to see things and hear things to believe they exist. They fulfill in themselves the word that says ” for seeing with their eyes they see not in hearing with their ears they hear not, for one must see and hear with the heart to understand the kingdom of God. And it is from the heart that the enemy steals the seed lest it should take ground in bare-root. And also for them it must be precept upon precept line upon line here a little there a little that they may be snared taken back and caught. And so they are .
They hoot and holler and cheer on the Jerusalem of our day and believe that the Creator will come back to it to become the created and thereby condemn themselves. But flesh and blood does not inherit the Kingdom. But the transformed mind does . They have things backwards.
Romans 122 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man”. But “He is the God that calls those things that don’t exist as though they do” because they do for the faithful.
Like the Israel in the day of Paul. He said The elect have received it but the rest were hardened. So too in our day.
Therefore while men slept to the greater concepts of the invisible immortal ubiquitous eternal God, the enemy has come and sown his seed and twisted Gods word to become a carnal reality.
It is Satan who said that “I will Ascend on high sit among the congregation in the rings of the North. I will become like God”. And so he does. He has breathed another life of a different spirit in a dead old document called the old Covenant and brought it back to life in our modern day with the new Jerusalem of our day that does not resemble Solomon’s Jerusalem let alone the one built from the foundations of the world. The Jerusalem for the law. It was the Kingdom of the covenant of death as evidenced by the continual sacrifices of dead animals that they in their unbelief in the cross as being sufficient. They insist on starting up the Mosaic sacrifices again and will perish for doing so. Christ fulfilled those. That earthen kingdom only shadowed with contrasts the Heavenly things that are “in Christ”. The Giver of Life. Not the taker by death.
It is us of the New Covenant who sacrifice ourselves as “a living soul” that partake of the Breath of Life funded To Us by the New Covenant Concepts which are
associated with “the kingdom of God at hand”, made relevant by The Word and the Holy Spirit and paid for by the sacrifice of Christ. There is no other way for salvation for Transfiguration than this. And another way will not be provided for later.
It is in our day that the wheat and tares mature together that the tares rear their ugly head. Why? Because there is none to withstand them. Men slept and are sleeping today to the real gospel of “repent because the Kingdom of God is at hand “. The thing you are looking forward to later is “the dillusion if possible to deceive the elect”. We know. He is the lo I Am With You Always and the I will never leave you or forsake you.
It is the wise maidens that entered into the bridal chamber, however the foolish were left out. And when the persecution arises they knock on the door but the Lord says to them I know you not where you are from. Like the Jews were condemned for, they sought it not as it were by faith but by fact. They never entered into the new Covenant of Faith needing things all factual. It was the wicked servant who said my Lord delays His coming”. So they wait wickedly.
Luke 16.8 “The sons of this age are more shrewd with their riches than the Sons of light”.
As people of the light we must understand more clearly what our riches are.The sons of this age use paper currency to purchase material things to cloth and please their physical body. With our money we obtain eternal attributes as our new attire.
Our currency is the word of God which bears the image not of a dead man, but of the living God, supplying goods for our transfiguration. Our currency is word and we cloth ourselves with word “lest we are found naked”. In the beginning was the word, so that is what we become. Gods Word is of eternal matter.
Because “we, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transfigured into the same full image from the glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” with the rescripting of scripture. It is in this way we become Godly and in no other.
There is no future act involved to accomplish our transfiguration or to supersede the gift that is given for us to become godly. Christ gave Himself for this cause, and the payment was rendered in full. This is what makes Him our savior and our salvation via the cross. He is our crossover method to the Father, our Destiny. To be found “in Christ”.
This is symbolized at baptism where we are crusified with Christ by the working of faith, to walk in newness of life. And we are held accountable to the act of baptism, as much as we are to marriage or any public declaration. Our baptism has eternal value. So let us pursue our crossover, this transfiguration and put Christ on. How?
Isaiah 55.1“Ho! Everyone who thirsts,Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. 3Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live;
It is as we apply the word of God by faith and the penmanship of the Holy Spirit, we acquire Gods things to become like Him. This is true godliness. The is our payment for our work of faith. For us the elect, this is a faith that pleases God. And with the scripture we consume, we are newly re-scripted. We have a re-newed understanding in the spirit of our minds. We clean the house of our mind of old things and appetites to become “renewed in the spirit of our mind” and left no room for satan or his minions to return. “Everything is swept up and put in place” to have God our coinhabitant. We too can say “I and the father are one”. Isn’t this what Paul pleaded for? To be reconnected to God? (2 Corinthians 5.16-20
Scripture is not a collection of open ended promises to be fulfilled later, but to be accuated the moment you receive them by faith. Christ is the fulfillment and if we are “in Christ” we are where these delicacies are stored. They are hidden in Christ. And just as a store has inventory to clothe and feed. Christ is our storehouse. His word appropriated by faith is our payment to recieve the goods. Even as Joseph’s servant exclaimed, the price for what they hungered for was “in the mouth of their sacks”. This is the word of faith. “For He is the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that do not exist as though they do”. Because they do for us.
It is in this way we are to cloth ourselves in attire that is just like Christ in Spirit and truth. “We are righteous even as He is righteous”. Why? Because He said so. (1st John 3.7). He calls the things that don’t exist as though they do. Put this on.
We were redeemed at face value, not of our outward condition, but our potential. “All have fallen short if the Glory of God” and receive new life or judgment based on their choices because godliness is everybody’s potential saying “go forth and have dominion. But you must be renewed. For us we arise to our position seated with the Father in the heavens of our minds in understanding of godliness. God-like-ness. Even Paul stated that we are seated in the Heavens for above all power and principalities in Christ”, which is our new identity.
In the beginning was the word, the word became flesh and dwelled among us, for us the elect to put off the deeds of the flesh and put on the deeds defined by Gods word. In this way even the angels in heaven behold the face of our heavenly father when they see us. Even the fallen angels. They fear and tremble. As Christ said that the ruler of this world has been judged? He is incarcerated in the will of God. If you can receive this by the working of faith, then it can be said of you too, behold I beheld as Satan fell from heaven like lightning.
Satan can only do what he is delegated to do. To “eat dust” being the residue of fallen man. He is held at bay from us the elect as we enjoy the pleasures God enjoys. And God Delights in his creation. So can we. Christ prayed “Father keep them from evil” and so He does. Put this on.
Christ became a man to show us the way to the Father saying ‘I am the way the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. And so we do. We are “the called” the elect of God. We hear His voice in the Heavens of our minds and respond in kind. Our invisible faith receives his invisible reception.”Being His kind of firstfruits of His creation” of the pre-existing non created existence.
Christ did not become man to stay that way. He returned to the Father when he was done with his human body “and you see Him again way no more”. Even as Paul affirmed saying “we once knew Christ after the flesh henceforth know he him that way no more.” He returned to His original pre-creation pre-spoken Word. And this is what we put on. Where? In the loins of our mind. How? By faith. We let our minds be dressed in this way. As Paul said “So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God”. It is the flesh that returns to the dust. Our flesh has no transfiguration.
It is as we absorb the words of Christ, we are saturated with God Himself. God finds a reflection of Himself in us that is suitable to Him, being something familiar. He is comfortable with us and in this way His Words are fulfilled that say. If you keep my words and my words abide in you, we will come to you and make our home in you.” He who went to make a place for us to be with Him where He is, already did this. He is in His origination with the Father in the before time and He calls us there.
His word in us has made a place in our understanding for Him to be with us in the spirit of our minds. Our minds being a much greater expanse than all the created heavens. “For the heavens show His handiwork” but the spirit of the mind contains God. We are filled with all the fullness of God as scripture affirms.
Here are some instructions outlined in the New Covenant for you to understand more fully that we put on Christ one attribute at a time to awake to our God given glory.

“Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry”.
But puton the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
But above all these things puton love, which is the bond of perfection.
And for our clothing from Ephesians 6 “11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
There is not one element given to put on for us to be godly that has to do with anything you can see, touch, or buy at the store. You must go to scripture.
If we can accept this, there is no greater reward then to realize, or better yet, actualize and put in play “the things that have been freely given to us in Christ”. He traded in our death for His life. Our crown of thorns for His crown of Glory. Despise not the gift or insult the gift giver.
The Son spoke a thing, it was like with the Father. The thing that was said became the thing that was spoken the moment He said it. Like “let there be light, and it was so.
Instead of waiting for God to do another work, rest in the works that He already did for us. Believe the thjngs said in scripture. Put on these truths, this reality being in Christ.
As we learn to put off the old man and his deeds, and put on Christ in this way, we become the living Epistles of God written on our hearts known and read by all men. Amen
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
It is John 3:16 that is the most preached about and spoken about and displayed scripture of all time. But what does not get displayed is John 3:17 That God sent His Son not to condemn but to save the world. This is over looked. It was the purpose of God the Father to send His Son to reconcile all things to himself through Jesus Christ. And He did. “It is finished “. Paul said that “God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to himself and has given us this message of reconciliation”. He reconciled the earth already. He was the propitiation, the covering for the whole world past present and future by the one act. 1 John 2.1
So any gospel message that stops short of this purpose is not a full gospel message. Reconciled to what Adam lost. A one on one relationship with God with all the curses removed. That “in Christ” the earth and creation operate flawlessly, as designed from the beginning. To have things back to when God said of His works that “they are good, very good.
So here are some things we need to understand about the broken relationship between God and man before we can understand the reconciliation. God never left man. Man left God. And he left not by walking away but by his mental association. He disassociated and became a self. God never separated from man. God covered him in the beginning. God did not condemn men. Man needed to be protected from his own actions promoted by wrong thinking. And because men departed from God, God did not want man to eat of the Tree of Life and live forever in a fallen state. If he lived forever in a fallen state he would be condemned to an eternal Fallen death. To preserve Fallen man from an eternal death, He protected and guarded the Tree of Life “lest they eat of it and live forever”. Because the natural consequence is that they would have to die forever and a loving God would never do this to His image. They lost the Spirit of God and we’re left to their carnal state saying “For dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return”.
The departure from God happened by man. God did everything he could do from the beginning. You see this when He covered Adam after the fig leaf. He pleaded through the law and the prophets to bring man back. The failure of the law and the prophets showed that reconciliation to the father is impossible by our Adamic endeavor. Hence a replacement for Adam was necessary. Deity knowing this said Whom Shall go and whom shall I send for us. One of Them had to become a man to do this. Someone had to erase what Adam did. What Adam could not fix and what none of Adam’s predecessors could do, because they were all born from his likeness, God did by sending His Son to become one of us, to undo what Adam did.
The whole human race had fallen. God sent his son into the world not to condemn the world because mankind was already in that state of condemnation saying “he who beleiveth not in the Son is condemned already”. “but that through Him the world would be saved”. This new man Jesus, did not have to bandage our knees or fix broken bones to reverse the fall. And he did not have to show by cataclysmic displays of earthquakes and thundering either. For redemption He did have to show the way of a renewed spirit and a renewed mind. This is the reconciliation and the restoration. In the spirit the mind houses.
So let us show you the main obstacle for Humanity today. Adam and Eve first showed lack of trust and believing in God by eating of the forbidden fruit and the result was they were left fending for themselves with fig trees and excuses. The guilt and condemnation that they received was by themselves and in themselves and they were ashamed. Condemnation was self-generated. Feeling empty they are now experiencing the reward of their works of faithlessness. When God asked them “where are you” He knew where they were. He wanted them to check their mental disposition. They knew they were naked but not by anything God said. And they only knew of their nakedness when they put off faith. The stepped out of protection and in this way saw that they needed covered, hence they were naked. To this the gospel re-clothes us and we call it clothed in righteousness, meaning right standing with God, clothed with His invisible provision. And to this Christ restored saying (1 John 2.1) He is the covering not for us only, but for the whole world”.
You see God never cursed man or denied man or did anything against men. Even today the message is “Peace and goodwill towards man”. Man cursed himself. God protected man. He covered them. He made propitiation from the beginning. (Gen 3..) The Tree of Life would have been detrimental to the whole human race. The fruits of man’s departure was to be short-lived by returning by faith. This is our invisible response to our invisible fall that took place in the recesses of our mind and spirit that we cannot see.
So let’s look at some more of the departures man took from God. Cain departed from God when he slew the image of God seen in his brother Abel. This was hatred towards God and hatred towards Humanity. Cain said that it was more than he could bear. He said that he would be avenged seven times for his sin. But God never said that. God covered him by saying “therefor if anyone tries to kill Cain he shall be avenged 7 fold”. Then he put a mark on Cain as proof. Then again with Cain’s son Lamech who said “surely if God Avenged my father seven times for his sin, I shall be Avenged 70 times. But God didn’t say that either. This is the product of the fallen sin based conscience that is enmity against God. The “accusing and excusing one another”. This is the self-inflicted judgment of each human in themselves. It is personal condemnation. Some call this karma. But God sent his son into the world not to condemn the world but to save the world. And it was stupid thinking that man had to be saved from. To be saved from himself. This is the way the world needed to be saved. Mans conscious needed to be cleansed from self imposed condemnation. And Christ does this saying “for the worshipers once purged should have no consciousness of sin.” Hebrews 10
So it is the personal judgment each one puts on themselves, then by making up excuses and blaming and trying to bury it, or cover it, we hide. Adam where are you? God knew where he was but wanted him to come clean, to confess. This Adam did not do. John said “If our hearts condemn ourselves we shall receive nothing from God. Like a cup turned upside down cannot receive water. God is Not condemning. God is not throwing people in hell. These concepts are the fruit of the Fallen broken spirit. But the father stands with open arms and wants you to come clean. He showed himself in His Son at the cross, arms wide open, bearing our curse of thorns for us to exchange to partake of His righteousness, His crown of glory. We “come to the light to see clearly that what is required of us is done in God “. This is the gift. “By His stripes we are healed ” He was stricken for us”. And “to as many as received him, to them he gives power to become his children”. He gives them the ability to depart from the self inflicted curse of personal condemnation. This broken mind sees wickedness in everybody because creation mirrors back to you your own perspective.
This broke-ness grows to where the whole world looks damned and broken, but it is not. For “God sent His son into the world not for condemnation but to save the world” and “God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to Himself and has committed to us this message of reconciliation”. Everyone who receives this saving sees things in a new way “all things become new” because God is not out of control that He need to re-perform another reconciliation or a 2nd saving because He does not repeat Himself or have to do something over as though He overlooked something and was caught off guard. His creation from the beginning is perfectly capable of containing the wicked and honoring the righteous simultaneously.This is why the man Jesus said “Father don’t take them out of the world, but keep them from evil”. This you have if you learn to trust God in this way. He’s got it covered. His Son is the propitiation for the whole world. (1 John 2.1)
It wasn’t the world that fell and changed its disposition towards man. It was man changed his disposition towards God. And Earth is part of the package deal.
So there are religious sectors that do not believe condemnation has been dealt with that profits off of condemnation and sin with constantly confessing acts of sins. They act as the mediator between God and man by imposing confessionals and washing’s and religious duties and personal sacrifices for one to find peace with God for yet another week. In this way they keep people in their sin at the cross in condemnation for profit and financial gain and for their own personal self worth and covering themselves in this way deny the very God they think they represent.
“But we have an anointing from the Holy One and need not that any man teach us”. We need no go-between. If we did, reconciliation would not be complete. But now “there is one mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus”. If we allow the saving of God to take place in us “apart from the law” away from religious institutions, like John the baptist in the desert, we learn to see “here comes the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”. And He does this in our understanding. We receive the reconciliation, the propitiation, and Gods covering, His perfect sacrifice for our sin laden conscience so that it can be said of you too “for the worshipers once purged would have no more consciousness of sin”. We loose and discard the broken conscience that is forever wrapped up into trying to please God. For “we come to the light to clearly see that what is required by us is done by God”. (John 3.-)
So God drove man out of Eden not to punish, but to save him and return him. It is as we learn to live our life “In Christ” and not “in Adam”. “The last Adam became a life giving spirit”. This was the Word who became flesh. This is our exchange old for new in the place of the fall. The mind. A clear conscience so you can understand this too “Titus 1:15
To the pureall things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing ispure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled”. Let the gospel shape your view and restore pure thinking.
Each culture has defining features that are unique to it. It is made up of specific components like land defined by borders, a language, with leaders and a legal system to implement the laws that are specific to it. They generally have memorial celebrations to pass on to subsequent generations the things that make them unique. They define, renew and insure their identity. Change these and that people will cease to exist.
An important feature of many nations is a foundational document called a constitution. Constitution is a big word for ingredients. It defines what the citezines are made up of. These people are called constituents. They contain the ingredients in themselves as defined by their constitution that make them unique. Take away these ingredients and you change the people. You have a new constituency and a different people. People who are made up of different laws and values.
This is what Christ did. He came preaching “The Kingdom of God is at hand” something everyone was looking for. He was the revolutionary creating a new constituency of a new constitution called The New Covenant. The book of Hebrews says “this was first spoken by the Lord and confirmed by those who heard it.” He spoke first something different from the old covenant a new message to a new people. Such are we who are this new constituency being ingredients of The New Covenant founded on better promises than the old covenant. (Hebrews 8.6) Of things written not on stone, but on the heart. (2 Corinthians 3.3 and Jeremiah 31.31)
And the proof that it is something new and distinguishable different? Christ said “All the law and the prophets were till John. Now the Kingdom is preached and all are entering”. With these words He drew the proverbial line in the sand between His Heavenly Kingdom and the kingdom of Israel and Jerusalem on earth. He was the demarcation line between the old Jewish kingdom and the new Covenant Kingdom of God in Christ that “cometh not with observation”. (Luke 17.22)
This is for the “new wine in new wine skins”. So we are different from the old wine of the old covenant and it’s kingdom. Just as you do not put old wine in new skins lest it spoil, and you don’t put new wine in old skins lest they burst. So too you cannot mix the old and new covenants.
The phrase “The Kingdom of God is at hand” started then and was never retracted. A covenant is not in force till the death of the testator”. He came with irreversible results. Christ went to the cross for this cause, not to go again. With His death the heirs receive their inheritance and need not wait for another act to do so.
The New Covenant is now emphatically in force. Christ took the old covenant mandates and nailed them to the cross. Fulfilling it for the New. (Hebrews 10.9). The old reached its culmination to bring us to the New. Christ is the sole mediator for this New creation and needs no help from the prophets of the old whom He replaced. All the prophets were till Christ.
Peter said “Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, To them it was revealed that, not to themselves (they didn’t get it) but to us[b] they were ministering the things”. Here distinguishing the two covenants speaking of something that was coming that the old didn’t have. And Christ came for the expiration of their words. They speak of nothing past Christ’s coming in the flesh.
“All (of the old) law and the prophets were till John”? Christ introduces a new constitution for a new constituency of those born with ingredients of the Word and of the Spirit. Written on the heart and not stones like the 10 commandments. “He came to His own and His own did not accept Him, but to as many as receive Him, to them He gave power to become His Children, even to those who believe in His name. And also “of those born among women there is none greater than John the baptist. But he who is least in the New Covenant Kingdom is greater than he.” Who? John the Baptist or any other prophet for John was the greatest of them. We are greater than them because we stand upon their works. Which is why they are described as being the foundation of the New Covenant Kingdom. Having been laid upon the apostles and the prophets with Christ our cornerstone and us as living stones, and not earthly composition.
So “The New Covenant” people, are different from the old. A new people with a new make up, distinguishably different from the old. The old was written on tablets of stone and the New on tablets of the heart. (2 Corinthians 3.3)
We are not of the circumcision of the flesh but the heart. The differences have no parallels. That old culture depicts the New only with contrasts. The law of sin and death, in contrast with in contrast with “The Spirit of life that is in Christ”. The operative here is “in Christ” not in Jerusalem. This is “rightly dividing the word of truth”. And “The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Christ”.
If there had been a lawgiven which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. The culture of the law only mirrors the truth in contrasts. And opposites. “The law having shadows of these things but not the essence” (Hebrews 10.1)
Scripture says that Christ is the new mediator of a new covenant founded on better promises” than the old. In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8.13). And they did in 70 A.D. by Titus and His armies.
The old is made up of artifacts of a bygone age founded on temporary fixes and band-aids designed to “make sin exceedingly sinful”. To make us good and dead till Christ.
At the proclamation that “The Kingdom of God is at hand” the deterioration of the old commenced. And if the changes to the Jerusalem of old were to be minor, He would have just had painted the buildings and maybe replaced the roof, but because the changes were so drastic and diametrically opposite, everything had to be redone. “Till not one stone shall be left upon another” was Jerusalem’s demise (Mt 24.1). When Christ was on the cross, the physical temple was cracked from the top to the bottom so that the earth quaked and the bedrock shifted. (Mt 27.52) Yes clear through the foundation into the earth, showing it unsafe for use of any sort. Left condemned only for demolition, not because it was wore out, but because it didn’t work. That is why scripture says “old things have passed away, all things have become new in Christ.” It’s a done deal. The old way need not be reimplement because it was useless.
The expiration of that kingdom was so completely fulfilled, satisfied, expired and put out of business so much so in fact that all debts were paid and the books were balanced and closed. And because that kingdom and all the Jews so emphatically rejected the New King of a New Kingdom, the New Law and the New Law giver and the New Mediator of The New Covenant, but of them? “there were none righteous, no not one”. So on them was laid all the guilt for all the wrong doing, murders and deaths of all the prophets from Able till Zechariah and Christ. Why? Because there was not one prophet they listened to. Even as the people said “He is not my king, crucify Him”. And so they did. And so for this they were judged, condemned and annihilated. Just like the parable of the vineyard where the master sent his servants in last he sent his son. The stewardship was taken from them, and given to another. In this way the Jews rejected the chief cornerstone. They were not recipients of the gift of God but His wrath. The books were settled, the wages were paid. God owes the Jews nothing He hasn’t already given to them. God was patient that none would perish but there was none righteous, no not one”. The Jews and Jerusalem are no more. They are fulfilled. Meaning, expired, shelved and put away saying. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; Meaning condemned, kaput, closed for business, out of commission. Like the cursed fig tree Christ said “let no more fruit grow on you forever”. Showing His intent for that culture. It is eternally fulfilled. Can you receive that? Then you might be able to see the kingdom of God at hand.
The buildings and the streets of that culture were so turned over and so unrecognizable that there were no distinguishing features left but rubble. The people were ravaged, killed and trapped in that city because they rejected The King of kings and Lord of lords. Josephus and other historians from that era speak of the hellish horror they experienced while they ate each others flesh and gnashed their teeth in pain, while Jerusalem was surrounded by armies and cut off from provisions. They knew not their time of visitation. “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, do not go back in your house to retrieve a coat”. The Jews are gone. That kingdom was demolished. It was condemned, put out of business and replaced with the New Covenant Kingdom And The Kingdom of God is at hand.
You see the law was added only till faith comes and in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son born of a women to redeem those from the law. There is therefore no need for that law and the culture associated with it. It served its purpose of “making sin exceedingly sinful”. To go back to that is like jumping back into the pan on the fire, for they will reap the same reward of rejecting the Savior. As Paul said “if I rebuild that which was destroyed I make myself a transgresser”. To be found an enemy of Christ by rejecting His work of expiring that culture.
Many today do just that. They look to another coming Jesus and another fulfillment of a Jerusalem and view scripture the same way as the Jews of old were condemned for. This is why scripture calls Jerusalem on earth “the spiritual city called Sodom, where our Lord was slain”.
But “we have come to know and believe that Christ came to expire and replace the Old Covenant with the New covenant and New Kingdom of God in Christ. We the elect have received it. The Kingdom is preached and many press in. The rest were hardened (Romans 11.7). The Old verse the New. You choose.
We then are the constituents of His sayings. Even as Christ said at the sermon on the mount “you have heard it written of old. But I say into to you… something new” We adopt His sayings and live by the spirit of that letter. “We are begotten by the Word of truth to be a kind of firstfruit of His creation” having inside us His ingredients , being a new creation from a new constitution with new laws, principles and practices
The Kingdom of God is At Hand, within reach, grasspable, operational and active today. Even Now.
When you take away the law and the prophets, we see that whole culture unraveled and replaced. But for those of us who know? it was “sown corruptible raised incorruptible, It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body”. (1 Cor 15. 44+). “In Spirit and truth”.
All the components of that culture were mutually dependent upon each other. You take away the law and the rest falls apart like liquefying bones and the body ,falls to the ground. You see that was the culture held spellbound to sin and death. With all the laws, feasts and sacrifices they were held in guilt and condemnation. That is why there is no condemnation to those who walk not by that law but by the spirit of the New Covenant. What the law couldn’t do, God did by sending His Son in the likeness of man, He condemned sin in the flesh with its culture and artifacts. Romans 8. This is the good news. The old was the gospel of death. With the cross death was paved over. That is why believers are “baptized into His death to walk in newness of life”. This is the gospel. The good news. Unless you are baptized in vain.
When Christ was speaking a parable of Jerusalem at the fig tree, upon seeing no fruit He said “let no fruit grow on you no more forever”, showing the eternal finality of the Jews judgment. He could not have said that if it was not true. They were condemned fulfilled, expired and tore down “till not one stone was left upon another. Woe to those who rebuild that abomination (that makes desolate), and they do “whose coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
It is to take all the law and the prophets and that whole culture that Christ expired, being fulfilled, filled to the full. To reject the New King in His New Covenant Kingdom, then revert to the old and rebuild that is the epitome of rejecting Christ, despising His blood by rebuilding the things He replaced. They reject the New wine saying the old is better.
With lying signs and wonders, the implementation of fulfilled scripture for another coming kingdom. Christ rejected such a notion saying of His Kingdom that “it cometh not with carnal observation”. And those who say that it does? Christ said “do not follow them!”. (Luke 17.22). But so these persist and will receive the same condemnation. Woe! See that you do not refuse Him who speaks from heaven! The very thing the Jews rejected, so these do too today and they will receive the same judgment.
The purpose to replace the old was so important that Christ gave His life for that cause. Woe to those who despise His blood in hopes of rebuilding the old kingdom and implement the old sacrifices and those who help them. But for those who accept the New? We bear not our own judgment like they did but “On Him was laid the iniquity of us all and by His stripes we are healed”. For those who deny Him receive their own death and condemnation, but for us He diffuses ours.
When Christ said “The Kingdom is preached and all are entering”, He was not referring to entering that Jerusalem for they were already there, but the land of faith. He said “The time that is coming is now when you no longer worship in Jerusalem (on earth) but in Spirit and truth” hereby defining the New boundaries of His Kingdom of “where ever two or more are gathered in His name, there He is in their midst” fulfilling “the Kingdom of God is within you”.
In His name, meaning “in Christ” are the limitless, eternal boundaries. We who are constituted of spirit and Truth are this constituency made up of New constitution called The New Covenant. And because of this we can say that “now we are fellow citizens members and Saints of the household of God laid upon the foundation of the apostles (not concrete) with Christ our cornerstone” and “we are living stones built together a habitation of God in the Spirit”. Once again defining our boundaries of endless opportunities.
But many are still looking for the physical kingdom “that cometh not with observation” and allege themselves with the wicked servant who said “my master delays His coming” of which He does not. He stands at your door and knocks even now.
Of those who seek another? They constitute the apostates of our day of a “not yet kingdom for a not yet king at some incalculable point in the future when another savior will come. This kingdom is not “at hand” but out of reach. You can’t have it. They join their predecessors of whom it is said “you are not entering the Kingdom nor are you allowing those who are trying to do so “. They preach another gospel then “The Kingdom of God is at hand”
Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, and need not to appear for you to believe because you are measured by your faith in the God “who calls those things that don’t exist as though they do”. Why? Because they do.
So it was everything defining the Jews of old, be at the laws the feast the prophets the buildings and the artifacts that were disassembled unraveled to never be repeated because they were only a temporary addendum to the promises made to Abraham. Moses was an add on that was fulfilled. Now we are back on track. They are so emphatically fulfilled and destroyed, every debt and every payment cleared and made good so that it never needs to be revisited or rebuilt. Even as it says in Hebrews of the New Covenant in force, “He made the first covenant obsolete”. Even as scripture says that the law was added till Faith Comes, and in the fullness of time God sent forth his son born from a woman to redeem those who are under the law”. The redemption has already taken place. That is why that whole culture is history. Christ took the law that was contrary to us, nailed it to the cross and neutralized the effects of its accusations, sins, condemnation and fear. That’s what the law did. It kept you in the perpetual feasts and focus on sin and sacrifices. That is why “he who sins has neither seen Him or known Him” and that is why now living on the redemptive side of the Law the prophets and sin “the accusor of the brethren has been cast down “. Because “He has perfected forever those who come to Him”. And we did.
The Kingdom of God is emphatically at hand. And it has nothing to do with the imitation on earth. Do not be fooled by the Jerusalem of our day.
All things is a widely used phrase in Scripture. But understanding it in its proper context we too can understand all things. 1st John says we have an unction an anointing from the Holy One and we know all things. Do we know all things?
All things is Central to the theme of the work of Christ. In His final discourse as a man to The Father he said “Father I have come and finish the works You have given me to do. I have given Your words to the people whom You have given me out of the world and they have received them. They now believe that I came forth from You and that I return to You, and that all things have been given into my hands. These have received Your word”, therefore his mission was complete. All Things are “In Christ”.
So when Christ was speaking to the Father, He was speaking about all things from the father. And if the father is Immortal Eternal and invisible, then so too are all things of God that the Son of God possessed that in turn are given to us the heirs of the things in Christ.
It’s like this. Here is a parable. Many people will go into a store that sells items that represent their favorite sports figure or hero. Seeing articles like t-shirts, hats, shoes or posters of this figure, they then purchase them and take them home. However if while being in the store that idolic person walks in, they should take more interest in the figure than they did the posters the hats and the t-shirts.
And this is what the Jews did and what all the law and the prophets represent. They may not be t-shirts or posters or hats, but they are things that are representative of all the things of God. So if that hero or that sports figure is shows up in person, they would be flocked for autographs and handshakes from those who idolize them. And if that figure were to adopt them they would likely go home with him.
So here is the parable the parallel for us to understand today. Christ came forth from the father to do a work. And he did. He gathered up all the hats and all the t-shirts and all the posters and put them away so as not to confuse the would be worshipers. Those fixed items would hold the worshiper spell down for a moment, but having the real figure there before them to spend time with them, to eat and interact with them, the posters that hats and t-shirts should lose their meaning. And the term idol is spiritual adultery, and is referring to this. Christ is the figure all the idols of the old covenant dimly portrayed of the man we call Christ. Scripture says that the man Christ went into the temple and look at all things. Showing that all things in the temple were reflections of himself. These verses from scripture put it this way:
1 Co yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom areallthings, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom areallthings, and through whom we live.
Now allthingsare of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
So we need to place these items that the term “all things” includes, and place them squarely where they belong. Which is? “In Christ” “For in Him dwells the fullness of the of head body,, and we are complete in Him who is the head and ruler of all powers and all principalities.
Here are just a couple more verses of all things to add definition.
The Father loves the Son, and has given allthings into His hand.
In the Hebrew language God is Echad. Meaning God is one. Deuteronomy 6.4 Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one God!: The Lord our God, the Lordis one! Meaning; God is indissoluble, indivisible and inseparable in His original composition of Spirit and truth.
For this reason there is another construct than Spirit and truth, and that is time and matter. In this construct God is broken down into individual sound bites, not for a carnal manifestation, but for our mental rumination, consumption and growth. It is for our transformation from here to there. He who is eternally one and complete in Himself is immortal and invisible, then broken down into sound bites through the law, the prophets, to then be reassembled in us who are in Christ. This is spelled out in “The New Covenant” associated NOT with Jerusalem on Earth because that expired with the prophets, but with grand opening of “The kingdom of God at hand”. This is what all the law and the prophets promised, and what Christ brought to our understanding. It was first preached in its entirety in the time of Christ, and is still in effect in its entirety today because “The Kingdom of God is still,, at hand”.
God is indivisible and inseparable. He is only broken down in concept for us to realize who God is by degree, one revelation at a time, to the degree we are able to receive, until we learn and adopt the elemental principles not of the building blocks of Earthen elements, but of the invisible building blocks that makes up God in the spirit. For this reason “we are living stones built up a habitation for God in the Spirit”. But you don’t see that when you look in the mirror, unless your mirror is Gods Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3.18)
This is Gods building now. With things of God in His natural before time construct of “that which is from the beginning”. The before time. The eternal one, to whom we are called to. This is the “Heavenly Calling”, the Eternal.
It is as we consume the assorted truths in scripture to rescript our mind, that we re-assemble the Son of God in ourselves in our inner man and become Godly. We become godlike in this way. Scripture contains the very DNA of God for us to be re-scripted. Because DNA is information, understanding information is knowledge. This is why we are instructed to grow in the knowledge of God. This is knowing God, receiving God as he is we become like Him. Where? In the spirit of our minds, the place where He interacts with us.
In the beginning was God in Word form, and as we consume His word we are modified internally and become “a new creation in Christ”. We are born again and re-created in this way. “Old things have passed away, all things become new” in this way and not another. We become immortal, invisible eternal and not time sensitive.
Like Paul chided with those returning to the old Jewish customs”you observe days months seasons and years. I am afraid that I’ve labored for you in vain”. They laid God out on a time frame called The Feasts and awaited God’s physical manifestations but physical God is not. And from Paul “I labor to have Christ formed again in you” because they forgot what they learned.
We are not to think of God in a time dispensed linier fashion, but a succession of continued revelations that transform the spirit of our mind. (Romans 12.1 and 2 Corithians 3.18) The word “transformed” from these two passages are the same Greek word generally translated “transfigured”, showing the place of our transfiguration.
God said “My ways are higher than your ways as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than yours, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts”.
So when we receive the Son of God in Word form, not the man but the construct He was before He became flesh, being the elements He is made up of from before the Father spoke Him. We receive God in His true form “for in Him (The Son) dwells the fullness of the godhead body and we are complete in him who is the head of all principalities and powers”. If we partake of His invisible personage we understand of him in His Word, this is how we go through our own transformation, and transfiguration..
It is our journey here in time and matter to understand and realize more clearly what Word means and how to put Word on. How to put Christ on as scripture instructs us to do. We learn to understand what God is. We assimilate God in this way in the inner man and in no other way. How else do you acquire the invisible? “For we have this treasure in earthen vessels (our man) that the Glory and the Excellency may be of God and not ourselves” our outer body. It is other worldly.
We put on Gods invisible nature in an invisible way “from faith to faith” no other visuals. For we who have begun a good work in the spirit perfect nothing in a carnal way. He said “My words are spirit and they are life”. We see the “evidence of the things unseen” and we accept Him in the spirit of our minds. We use our invisible tool of faith to implement “the things that have been freely given to us in Christ”. In this way we see “the hidden things in Christ” and in this way we see our new self hidden there too. In this way we fulfill the verse that says “Father that they whom you have given Me may be with Me where I am”. Yes! Seated in the heavens in Christ”. With Him, like Him and enjoying the delicacies He enjoys of the pre-created order of all things.
We the elect are the true heirs of “all the things” of God in this way. We do not associate with the sit and waits of the second coming.
It is us “the called” the eklisia, who have arrived. To us who have been given the keys to the Kingdom, we have unlocked it and entered in. “No one has descended from heaven but he who has ascended to heaven who is the Son of man who is in Heaven” (John 3) And if we are in Him, we are in heaven because heaven is hidden “in Christ”. Because all things of God culminate in the spirit, in Christ in one. God is one, God is Echad.
Word is the full sum, the collection of all His concepts broken down in what is called the law and the prophets, fulfilled and expired in Christ, of invisible building blocks we call truths in the spirit. Truths displayed to our understanding to be reassembled in our inward man to the culmination of all truths to the truth. God. Echad. Did not the Christ pray for us to be one with Him as He is one with the Father? (John 17)
Just as like species communicate in their own language, fish to fish, bird to bird, and man to man. We must put on Word, the Son of God, the manifest mind of God, to communicate with our Heavenly Father, and to enjoy our Heavenly heritage. To have a clear relationship with God. This is the purpose of the cross. His “words are spirit and they are life”. We associate with Him like this and assimilate what we associate. “We speak what we hear and testify to what we see”. No impurities. “In Him” there is nothing else to talk about but Him. And we who are “in Him” know this truth where there is no darkness or other fabricated impurities. We have nothing left to say, but we say everything at the same time. He is complete in Himself and as we take Him in, we are as complete as His self. Like looking in a mirror. We see a reflection of Himself in ourself as His same self and His purpose is completed. Just as our Lord on earth said “Father I have finished the work you have given Me to do. I have given to those You have given Me, your Word and they have kept it”. And so we did. This is the finished work. Our transfiguration had its transformation and we are complete in Him. We have this “koinania”. We too are one. We are of the Echad in the Family of God by clothing our mind in this way. Because God is spirit and truth, we see our new person is spirit and truth also.
When you were told to put on the breast plate of love, what store did you buy that at? When you were instructed to “Let your feet be shod with the Gospel of peace”, who tied your shoes? When you were told to “taste and see that the Lord is good”, did you pallet that with your tongue or your mind? Do you see what we are talking about? Then you have the eyes to see of a different nature. A spiritual one.
It was said to the Israelites and Jews “seeing with their eyes they see not, hearing with their ears they hear not, for God has given them the spirit of stupor to be snared taken and caught.
But not so for us. We are of the elect. For those of us “who have eyes to see and ears to hear” of a different nature. A spiritual nature. Being born again not of the building blocks of time and matter that are to be disolved after your transformation, but by His words and His Spirit.
We are redeem not with disolvable silver or gold but the Word of God that endures forever. To be “a kind of firstfruits of His creating” being “born again” “born from above”. (John 3)
To conceptualize God in this way is to conceive in the spirit. To be genetically altered from the preconception of the carnal inception of the death passed on to the Adamic nature being “from dust to dust” to the life of God in Christ” receiving eternal life “from the spirit to the spirit”. For “He who has the Son has life, He who has not the Son has not life”. To our inheritance we arrive. We arise.
This genetic alteration we do In the “inner man”, in “the spirit of our mind”. We serve the Living God by reassembling these concepts passed on to us through scripture, to realize not so much only who He is but who we are now. That is why we look to the scriptures “as beholding our face in the mirror are being transformed into the same full image, from the glory to the glory, as by the spirit”. Not being a mirror to reflect our eye color or our skin complexion but the complexion of our spirit, and so we do. We put our new nature on, and as it says in scripture to “put on Christ”. This then is our purpose here on planet earth.
Our purpose is not to wait for another coming one to transition us. It was “the wicked servant who said “my Lord delays His coming”.
The New Covenant is already in place whereby God writes these things not on tablets of stone but on our invisible tablet we call the heart. We ponder these things and they are raised incorruptible in the spirit of our mind. We assimilate God by assembling His self in ourself to become one, indisolvable. We associate with God. We are of His kind of Spirit and truth.
It is scripture that contains the very genetic information of God given to us for our “transfiguration”. That word from the Greek is “metamorphos” and as a worm does not comprehend the flight and life of the butterfly, so too the carnal mind cannot understand the spirit. They are diametrically different. They are in fact opposite.
As we take communion not with a wafer, but by palleting His Word, we partake of Christ, we receive this genetic information. “We know Him even as we are known” as Paul said in Galatians. Like Adam knew Eve. A genetic transfer takes place. We display perfection in the spirit in our understanding and fufill in ourselves “till we all come to perfect understanding, to a full stature of Christ”. An exactitude of who He is, is our goal. We fulfill the verse in ourselves that says “when that which is perfect is come that which is in part is done away with” being the law, the sacraments and the Feasts.
The first Epistle of John says “that that which we have heard which we’ve seen which we’ve handled which we’ve touched essentially which we’ve consumed concerning the word of life. That which we declare unto you that which we manifest to you. And why do We do this? So that you too can have fellowship, koinania and oneness with us. A homoginization of God’s invisibleness with us who are spirit. To spiritually manifest with God. Our full sum duty, role and goal to God is to articulate these things.
It is in this way that the kingdom of God is at hand. Within our grasp.
God is Echad. God is One. We are one with God “in Christ”.
The Inheritance of Faith, Our Stock in the Eternal
Some people think the first contrast God created was light and dark saying “let there be light. God separated the light from the darkness and called the light day and the darkness night” but light and dark was not the first contrast.
The first contrast was “In the beginning God created”.
Each culture has defining features that are unique to it. It is made up of specific components like land defined by borders, a language, with leaders and a legal system to implement the laws that are specific to it. They generally have memorial celebrations to pass on to subsequent generations the things that make them unique. They define, renew and insure their identity. Change these and that people will cease to exist.
An important feature of many nations is a foundational document called a constitution. Constitution is a big word for ingredients. It defines what the citezines are made up of. These people are called constituents. They contain the ingredients in themselves as defined by their constitution that make them unique. Take away these ingredients and you change the people. You have a new constituency and a different people. People who are made up of different laws and values.
This is what Christ did. He came preaching “The Kingdom of God is at hand “. He was the revolutionary creating a new constituency of a new constitution called The New Covenant. The book of Hebrews says “this was first spoken by the Lord and confirmed by those who heard it.” He spoke first something different from the old covenant a new message to a new people. Such are we who are this new constituency being ingredients of The New Covenant founded on better promises than the old covenant. (Hebrews 8.6)
And the proof that it is something new and distinguishable different? Christ said “All the law and the prophets were till John. Now the Kingdom is preached and all are entering”. With these words He drew the proverbial line in the sand between His Kingdom and the kingdom of Israel and Jerusalem on earth. He was the demarcation line between the old Jewish kingdom and the new Covenant Kingdom of God in Christ that “cometh not with observation”. (Luke 27.22)
The phrase “The Kingdom of God is at hand” started then and was never retracted. A covenant is not in force till the death of the testator. Christ went to the cross for this cause. With His death the New Covenant is in force and the heirs receive their inheritance and need not wait for another saving.
The New Covenant is emphatically in force. (Hebrews 9+). The old reached its culmination to bring us to the New. Christ is the sole mediator for this New creation and needs no help from the prophets of the old whom He replaced. (Hebrews 1.1)
Peter said of the prophets “Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, meaning not to the prophets, but to us[b] they were ministering the things”. Here distinguishing the two covenants.
“All (of the old) law and the prophets were till John”? Christ introduces a new constitution for a new constituency of those born with ingredients of the Word and of the Spirit. “He came to His own and His own did not accept Him, but to as many as receive Him, to them He gave power to become His Children, even to those who believe in His name. And also “of those born among women there is none greater than John the baptist. But he who is least in the New Covenant Kingdom is greater than he.” Who? Greater than John the Baptist or any other prophet for John was the greatest of them.
The “New Covenant” people, are different from the old. A new people with a new make up, distinguishably different from the old. The old was written on tablets of stone and the New on tablets of the heart. (2 Corinthians 3.3)
We are not of the circumcision of the flesh but the heart. The differences have no parallels. The old depicts the New only with contrasts. The law of sin and death in contrast to “The Spirit of life that is in Christ”. The operative here is “in Christ” not in Jerusalem on earth. These too are contrasts. This is “rightly dividing the word of truth”. And “if there had been a lawgiven which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. The culture of the law only mirrors the truth in contrasts. Opposites. “The law having shadows of these things but not the essence” (Hebrews 10.1)
Scripture says that Christ is the new mediator of a new covenant founded on better promises” than the old. In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. (Hebrews 8.13). That happened with the destruction of Jerusalem which was overturned by Titus.
The old was made up of artifacts of a bygone age founded on temporary fixes and band-aids designed to “make sin exceedingly sinful”. To make us good and dead till Christ.
At the proclamation that “The Kingdom of God is at hand” the deterioration of the old commenced. And if the changes to the Jerusalem of old were to be minor, He would have just had painted the buildings and maybe replaced the roof, but because the changes were so drastic and diametrically opposite, everything had to be redone. “Till not one stone shall be left upon another” was the Jerusalem’s demise (Mt 24.1). When Christ was on the cross, the physical temple was cracked so violently from the top to the bottom that the earth quaked and the bedrock shifted. (Mt 27.52) Yes clear through the foundation showing it unsafe for use of any sort. That is why scripture says “old things have passed away, all things have become new.” It is irreversible.
This expiration of that kingdom was so completely fulfilled, expired and put out of business so much so in fact that all debts were paid and the books were balanced and closed. And because that kingdom and all the Jews so emphatically rejected the New King of a New Kingdom, the New Law and the New Law giver and the New Mediator of The New Covenant, but of them? “There were none righteous, no not one” Romans 3.10. So on them was laid all the guilt for all the wrong doing, murders and deaths of all the prophets from Able till then. Why? Because there was not one prophet they listened to. Even as the people said “He is not my king, crucify Him”. And so they did. And so for this they were judged, condemned and annihilated. In this way they rejected the chief cornerstone. They were not recipients of the gift of God but His wrath. The books were settled, the wages of sin were paid. God owes them nothing He hasn’t already given them. God was patient, that none would perish but there was none righteous, their time of visitation had come. The Jews and Jerusalem are no more. They are fulfilled. Meaning, expired, shelved and put away saying. Now it is said “28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus”. Galatians 3. Jews have no preferential treatment.
She was found in total contempt as seen here.“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; Meaning condemned, kaput, closed for business, out of commission.
The buildings and the streets were so turned over and so unrecognizable that there was no distinguishing features left. The people were ravaged, killed and trapped in that city because they rejected The King. Josephus and other historians from that era speak of the hellish horror they experienced while they ate each others flesh and gnashed their teeth in pain while Jerusalem was surrounded by armies. They knew not their time. “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, do not go back in your house to retrieve a coat”. The Jews are gone,. That kingdom was demolished. It was condemned, put out of business and replaced.
You see the law was added only till faith comes and in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son born of a women to redeem those from the law. There is therefore no need for that law and the culture associated with it. It served its purpose of “making sin exceedingly sinful”. To go back to that is like jumping back into the pan on the fire for it will reap the same reward of rejecting the Savior. But many do just that as they look to another coming Jesus and another fulfillment of a Jerusalem and view scripture the same way as the Jews of old were condemned for. But “we have come to know and believe that Christ came to expire and replace the Old Covenant with the New covenant and New Kingdom of God in Christ. We the elect have received it. The rest were hardened. They like the old wine better for “no one puts new wine into oldwineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” The Old verse the New. You choose.
When you take away the law and the prophets, we see that whole culture unraveled and replaced. But for those of us who know? it was “sown corruptible raised incorruptible, It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body”. (1 Cor 15. 44+). “In Spirit and truth”.
All the components of that culture were mutually dependent upon each other. You take away the law and the rest falls apart like liquefying bones and the body ,falls to the ground. You see that was the culture held spellbound to sin and death. With all the laws, feasts and sacrifices they were held in guilt and condemnation. That is why there is no condemnation to those who walk not by that law but by the spirit of the New Covenant. What the law couldn’t do, God did by sending His Son in the likeness of man, He condemned sin in the flesh with its culture and artifacts. Romans 8. This is the good news. The old was the gospel of death. With the cross death was paved over. That is why believers are “baptized into His death to walk in newness of life”. This is the gospel. The good news. Unless you are baptized in vain.
When Christ was speaking a parable of Jerusalem at the fig tree, upon seeing no fruit He said “let no fruit grow on you no more forever”, showing the eternal finality of the Jews judgment. He could not have said that if it was not true. They were condemned fulfilled, expired and tore down “till not one stone was left upon another. Woe to those who rebuild that abomination (that makes desolate), and they do “whose coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
It is to take all the law and the prophets and that whole culture that Christ expired, being fulfilled, filled to the full. To reject the New King in His New Covenant Kingdom, then revert to the old and rebuild that is the epitome of rejecting Christ, despising His blood by rebuilding the things He replaced. They reject the New wine saying the old is better.
With lying signs and wonders, the implementation of fulfilled scripture for another coming kingdom. Christ rejected such a notion saying of His Kingdom that “it cometh not with carnal observation”. And those who say that it does? Christ said “do not follow them!”. (Luke 17.22). But so these persist and will receive the same condemnation. Woe! See that you do not refuse Him who speaks from heaven! The very thing the Jews rejected, so these do too today and they will receive the same judgment.
The purpose to replace the old was so important that Christ gave His life for that cause. Woe to those who despise His blood in hopes of rebuilding the old kingdom and implement the old sacrifices and those who help them. But for those who accept the New? We bear not our own judgment like they did but “On Him was laid the iniquity of us all and by His stripes we are healed”. For those who deny Him receive their own death and condemnation, but for us He diffuses ours.
When Christ said “The Kingdom is preached and all are entering”, He was not referring to entering that Jerusalem for they were already there, but the land of faith. He said “The time that is coming is now when you no longer worship in Jerusalem (on earth) but in Spirit and truth” hereby defining the New boundaries of His Kingdom of “where ever two or more are gathered in His name, there He is in their midst” fulfilling “the Kingdom of God is within you”.
In His name, meaning “in Christ” are the limitless, eternal boundaries. We who are constituted of spirit and Truth are this constituency made up of New constitution called The New Covenant. And because of this we can say that “now we are fellow citizens members and Saints of the household of God laid upon the foundation of the apostles (not concrete) with Christ our cornerstone” and “we are living stones built together a habitation of God in the Spirit”. Once again defining our boundaries of endless opportunities.
But many are still looking for the physical kingdom “that cometh not with observation” and allege themselves with the wicked servant who said “my master delays His coming” of which He does not. He stands at your door and knocks even now.
Of those who seek another? They constitute the apostates of our day of a “not yet kingdom for a not yet king at some incalculable point in the future when another savior will come. This kingdom is not “at hand” but out of reach. You can’t have it. They join their predecessors of whom it is said “you are not entering the Kingdom nor are you allowing those who are trying to do so “. They preach another gospel then “The Kingdom of God is at hand”
Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, and need not to appear for you to believe because you are measured by your faith in the God “who calls those things that don’t exist as though they do”. Why? Because they do.
So it was everything defining the Jews of old, be at the laws the feast the prophets the buildings and the artifacts that were disassembled unraveled to never be repeated because they were only a temporary addendum to the promises made to Abraham. Moses was an add on that was fulfilled. Now we are back on track. They are so emphatically fulfilled and destroyed, every debt and every payment cleared and made good so that it never needs to be revisited or rebuilt. Even as it says in Hebrews of the New Covenant in force, “He made the first covenant obsolete”. Even as scripture says that the law was added till Faith Comes, and in the fullness of time God sent forth his son born from a woman to redeem those who are under the law”. The redemption has already taken place. That is why that whole culture is history. Christ took the law that was contrary to us, nailed it to the cross and neutralized the effects of its accusations, sins, condemnation and fear. That’s what the law did. It kept you in the perpetual feasts and focus on sin and sacrifices. That is why “he who sins has neither seen Him or known Him” and that is why now living on the redemptive side of the Law the prophets and sin “the accusor of the brethren has been cast down “. Because “He has perfected forever those who come to Him”. And we did.
The Kingdom of God is emphatically at hand. And it has nothing to do with the imitation on earth. Do not be fooled by the Jerusalem of our day.
The Abomination of desolation and the Son of Perdition warned about in scripture is the re-collection of all the shadows and images of the things of God displayed in Jerusalem of the lae and the prophets that were expired in Christ. That culture was selected to show the things of God that were designed to show by contrast the things of the heavenlies but built on planet earth for explanation purposes only. To understand the invisible and eternal with temporary things. The “all things” displayed in the law and prophets and ministered by the priests with sacrifices on feast days were discriptions of invisible things that have been fulfilled in Christ. To be sown physically and raised in the spirit of our minds.
It is the representation of these things being rebuilt today, denying they were fulfilled by Christ, they seek to recreate and re-present another fulfilling of scripture and they call it another Jerusalem of a second coming to replicate the things the Jews were condemned for.
This is “the dillusion with all lying signs and wonders if possible to deceive the elect”. And just as Christ was rejected in that day, so these likewise do. To the Pharisees of that day who were looking for the Kingdom to appear? Christ said “do not go after them”. But many are going that way again in our day.
The expectations in Israel today of a Kingdom of God being built for the Messiah is as blantant of a rejection of the Son of God as the Jews of old and will receive the same demise. Which is? “Not one stone shall be left upon another”. Why? Because they too have rejected the Chief Cornerstone for an abomination that brings desolation at the coronation of their king. They too reject that “we are the living stones assembled for God in the spirit”. They reject that scripture and this” now we are fellow citizens, saints and members of the household of God” and need no physical address or recreation on earth for this to be true. Why? Because they, like their predecessors, “seeing with their eyes they see not, and hearing with their ears they hear not. Because it is with the heart you must see and hear to understand the things of God. Even as the Son of God, when he temporarily became a physical man “and dwelled among us” said to the Samaritan lady at the well, “the time that is coming NOW IS when you will not worship the Father In Jerusalem, but in Spirit, this is truth”. So todays Jerusalem in modern Israel is a lie and not Spirit or Truth and is therefore of Satan’s Dillusion.
The message of another Christ is a false christ. A mimicker a wannabe, a look alike and a deceiver. Another coming called the 2nd coming, a phrase not found once in scripture.
These reject the saving of the cross in pursuit of something more fanciful. They take all the law and the prophets that were fulfilled in Christ and say “no they are not! The next Jesus/savior/Messiah does this”. Professing to be wise they become fools and turn the Glory of the eternal, immortal, invisible only wise God into the image and expectation of a man. Romans 1
Even as Paul had said of these deniers “11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness”. God purposely gave them a back door. By diverting the use of scripture to reconcile us to God, rejecting God they re-purpose scripture to un-deify God and make Him a construct of time and matter. As if God could be a subject of and be limited by His creation but “even all the heavens cannot contain God”. He cannot be assigned to a locality in a city on planet earth with a zip code. Why? Because He is the “lol I am with you always, even through all the ages”. It is Him who fills everything everywhere all the time. It is “in Him we live and dwell and have our being”
It is on this page and in every article on this website using scripture to present to you the message first from Christ, given to the disciples, read more clearly through the New Covenant writings (in contrast to the old Covenant and Kingdom) that all the law and the prophets were till Christ, the old being fulfilled and expired He provided “a new and living Way” to the Father. That message is? THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND.
Jesus Christ said “for all the law and the prophets were till John. Now the kingdom is preached and all are pressing in”. And “the violent take it by force.”
God is Not lackadaisical about His love for us, but a relationship with Him requires a whole lot of pressing in and persistence on our part. Hebrews 11 says that”God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”, and so we do. The psalmist said “to seek the Lord and call on him while he may be found”. That writer knew something about the Living God that many in our day don’t understand.
The word “Salvation” refers to all the work of God in you till you reach His conclusion “from faith to faith” and not visibly. We enter into His New Covenant and receive a The Kingdom of God. And this Covenant is not like the promise of some future time like the Law and the prophets, oh no it is something that is “at hand” that “the violent take by force”. God the Father takes delight in those who take Him at His word, and are aggressive with it. We do not take no for an answer. We have been given the keys to the Kingdom” and it is up to us to take God at His word and enter in. To “Him who calls those things that do not exist as though they do”, because for some of us they do. They exist on a different plane. An eternal one.They have become more tangible for Us, then the things you see with your physical eyes. Why? Because We have ears to hear of a different nature.
1 John 1; That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.” This fellowship is the oneness of John 17 fulfilled to those who are able to receive it.
The scriptures are replete with this message that “today is the day of salvation”. God would like to complete His work in you. Paul defines this saying “13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. For us to be nothing short of “a perfect man” in our understanding. For us to look into His word as a mirror and see our self in Him. “To the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. Till we too are full like Him. And we can only be full if Christ filled full all the law and the prophets. If your Christ must still “fulfill” something, you cannot be filled full for you do not see Him as He is but as He will be, but God is not the one in the making. You do not accept Him as He is. He is “the same yesterday, today and forever” and must not become anything. Christ came not to become something, but to prove who He already was. He was born King, and He told Mary “I am the resurrection and the life”.
It is said that “the evil steward said that his master delays his coming”. To say that Christ has delayed His coming, especially some two thousand plus years, keeps many waiting and in limbo looking for something that already is, being “The Kingdom prepared from the foundations of the world”. They like “the evil steward” believe the master is coming later. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of”. And that is? Today. He is standing at their door knocking, hoping to sup with them however they look for another. They reject Him as He is. The “Lo I am with you always” they dis-believe. In this way the giver becomes the taker and they are left “poor blind and naked”.
It is the second coming mindset that makes you spiritually fat and lazy. The slothful, fat and lazy pursue and persist at nothing. They look at all the work of God in a second coming. They wait for the Lord to come save them as though the saving of the Cross is insufficient. The constant confessions of sin is no different from the old Covenant, and keeps them battling with Satan and fearing death and the cross died them no good. And if God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him? What is His response and reward to those who don’t? If his promises are just promissory notes of things in the future like at a second coming, what are we pressing into? How are we victorious? “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
His promises and words to us are not left to be fulfilled later because “all things have been fulfilled” and “all things are now already.
He is a rewarder because he gives us something tangible. But not physically tangible, oh no something much greater. Eternally tangible. He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek him? But they who have their affections on planet Earth as though God will do something here, have departed from the Heavenly calling to follow him where he is that we may be also. For if he left us here rotting for 2000 years waiting for a promise to be fulfilled, then his life death and Resurrection was useless and in vain. If it brought us no closer to the kingdom of heaven then what the Jews presented, His journey here on earth was for nought. But as the writer of Hebrews said “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord.” You see He offered something different than the law and the prophets. The law and the prophets expectation culminated with these words from John the baptizer “are you the coming one or do we seek another?” The prophets leave you looking without for that which must be within. (Luke 17. 22) And so John the Baptist was the greatest and last prophet was beheaded. We must cut off the mindset of a future coming messiah/ savior to fulfill the scriptures “for all things have been fulfilled”.
The concept of a future coming messiah/savior to save the world denies the testimony God gave of His Son. John 3.17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved18 “He who believes this is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”. Yes tearfully speaking, they reject the saving that is in process to those who are growing in this knowledge of God.
If we persist in knowing “end times” or a “second coming” or another Jewish kingdom on earth we pervert the gospel. He is the “Lo the volume of the book is written of Me”. We trade the good news for the bad news. My Lord delays not His coming because His comings and knocking at my door are many. The “Lo I am with you always” needs not to appear again in carnal form. We once knew Christ in the flesh but henceforth know we Him that way no more”.
Persist in this. Press into this. The other ways? Leave you thirsty.
Hebrews is 8.1 “This is the main point of what we are saying. We have this great high priest eternal in the Heavens, not made with hands but by God”.
The writer goes on to differentiate between the Eternal Priesthood of Melchizedek and the temporary levitical priesthood associated with the law. That Melchizedek was much greater. And he was in fact so much greater because Melchizedek was not only the most high priest,He was also the King of Peace in the Kingdom of Peace. And it was the testimony that he lives. That who lives? Christ as King in His Kingdom.
This Melchizedek like our Lord “having no beginning and no end of days” was what some call a theophany. A pre-incarnate portait of the Son of God.
And “being witness that He lives” is “He who is invisible, immortal and invisible “. The pre incarnate Christ the Eternal Living Word of God made manifest for us in the person of Melchizedek.
You see under the law there was Moses as the mediator of that Covenant and there was Aaron his mouthpiece called the great high Preist. But no where did they mention the “King of Peace”. The were far inferior.
The Marvelous thing about this Melchizedek, the great high priest is that he technically was not a great high priest like we understand with Aaron. Because the writer goes on to say that “if he, Melchizedek, were on Earth he would not be a priest” because the priests on Earth are of the order of the law based on sin. But Christ came one as the great high priest who went in the Holy place not made with hands but Eternal in the heavens not with the sacrifice of bulls and goats but the sacrifice of himself being a much greater sacrifice than the culmination of what all the law and the prophets had to offer.
Because “the order of Melchizedek” who is more aptly defined as a King from a Kingdom who performed the Priest act once at the end if that age to put away sin and that age. Because being priest was not something he continued to carry out.
This is what Christ did. The putting away sin once at the end of the ages was in reference to his sacrifice of himself at the cross. That Christ through the eternal spirit purges our conscience from dead works from external laws and of the guilty conscience of condemnation defined by the law.
So Melchizedek is much greater than the priest who worked for the law because in him contained so much more of the image of God than anything the law could ever portray.
If the Jewish law is touted today, with the priests and the feasts as the prefered way, that they are hell hent on rebuilding the temple, to re-establish the sacrifices for sin administered by a man preist. What need was there to have a great high Preist in the order of Melchizedek? The order of Melchizedek precedes and supersedes the ways the Jews hold on to. “For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law”. (Hebrews 7+8) The Jewish law has been changed.
Hebrews 8.1 So the main point that we are saying is that we have a great High Priest eternal in the heavens in the temple made without hands of man but by God”. That we have the true witness like Melchizedek being more than a priest. He is the King of righteousness from the Kingdom of Peace. Melchizedek was picturing an immortal eternal, invisible reality “of Him who lives”, as evidence of a King and Kingdom in the place finished from the foundations of the world”.
For what is a King with out a kingdom but a dreamer. Christ was a pre-incarnate King “born King” of a Kingdom “not of this age” being The King of Kings and The Lord of lords. Meaning not of time and matter.
As Paul said to those who reverted to the Feasts and sacrifices “You observe days months seasons and years. I am afraid that I have labored for you in vain”. Do I need to labor again to have Christ formed in you? I have my doubts about you”.
Many think Christ needs to become a king on earth according to Jewish law after He jump starts the sacrifices again, which is blasphemous and a blatant disregard of the blood of the cross and “insults the spirit of grace”.
This is the testimony of Melchizedek that far outweighs the testimony of a priesthood. He is The King of righteousness from the Kingdom of Peace eternal in the Heavenlies. The Kingdom that pre existed the beginning of the world, that post exists the end of the world, made with things other worldly as being the things not made of the hands of men but by the handy work of God.
We the people of faith that “confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return”. But today they recall that land, so in their ignorance God has provided a way for them, with all lying signs and wonders if possible to deceive the Elect. They are not fooling us.
For those who reject the Eternal King in the Kingdom of Peace, Christ, who expired the preisthood. This being Heavenly Jerusalem and not of earth”, it is these who are hell bent on making them on earth physically and reject the Father who seeks those who are “spirit and truth”. They”call to mind the country they came out of”. Which is “The spiritual city called Sodom where our Lord was slain”. More accurately called Jerusalem in our day. (Revelation 11)
So if you correctly understand the order of Melchizedek, you would accept these things. What things? The King of righteousness in the Kingdom of Peace as being an Eternal reality of “Heavenly Jerusalem come down from God of Heaven”.
The Kingdom of God is at Hand,. This is what Melchizedek testified to.
Peace = Shalome = Salem =
Jerusalem = city of Peace
Salomon = Salem and pictured the son of God and King of Peace and portrayed the same thing as Melchizedek.
” In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Genesis 22.18. This promise was spoken to Abraham before the Law and The Prophets.
“In your seed” was speaking of Christ according to Galatians 3.16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,”[a] who is Christ” Seed is singular in context and not plural. Meaning one, not many. It was not speaking of the Jewish people but of Christ. Christ is the deliverer of blessings.
Were the Jews ever singled out as the recipients of the promises of God? No. The chain of inheritance goes like this…
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying,“In you all the nations shall be blessed.”[d]9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.” Paul who authored that paragraph was making the point that the Jews are not the recipients. All who accept the invitation into the Kingdom are. It was the Jewish law age ended. Now the gospel is preached and all are entering “. The recipients and the objective of the gospel is the gentiles as all nations as seen here in Galatians 3 ” And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand (before Jewish Law), saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham”.
It is the Jews associated with the law, the prophets, the feasts, the sacrifices and their city who remain in the sin based society that produces condemnation and death of accusations of the things written on the 2 tablets of stone who cannot have this. They stand jn opposition to faith. That is why Paul said he wished he was accursed for the sake of His culture because they were rejected.
Even too with the scripture that says “Those Who bless you shall be blessed and those who curse you shall be cursed” was speaking of the promise to the gentiles because the culture of the law through Moses had not yet been introduced. The promise was speaking
of the Son of God, and those born from Him, “not by the will of men, but of the spirit”. Born from above and not a culture called the Jews on Earth. Scripture is about the Son of God and not the Jew. The volume of the book was written of Him.
So then the Jews are not the recipients of the things of God but The Son is. And those of us who know this are “in Christ”. We who are hidden “in Christ” see the things hidden here and we look at the re-creation of Gods things of the earth and we see the imposter. Someone has stolen the things of God and called them their own. It is not enough that the Jews of old resisted the Holy Spirit while they had the old covenant articles, but today the imposter takes on no real likeness except to capture the innocent and spiritually dead.
You see “There is no longer Jew nor Greek, there is no longer slave nor free, there is no longer male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” All nationalities (gentiles) have equal access to “The Kingdom at hand” in Christ. There is no preference for the old or modern Jew. This is the New Covenant different from the old. “God is no respector of persons”. Jews have no special priveleges or preferential treatment. Because “those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” These who are born of the spirit.(Romans 9) and “in Christ are all the promises of God are yes and amen” they have their fulfillment in Christ and not Israel on earth. And again from 1 Corinthians 12 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free”. Christ is our New Creation and not manifest the old covenant way.
The people of god defined as “Israel” were given to walk out on planet earth over and over visibly mimicks of eternal realities complete in the heavens for our learning.
Even as God says in Exodus 4:22 that “Israel is my firstborn son”. But was Israel God’s firstborn son? No Christ is “the only begotten of the Father”. Israel was only given as a picture. It was a physical representation of invisible realities to help us understand the things that are Invisible “in Christ “. Even as Paul said in First Corinthians 12 of Israel mirroring the body of Christ. But just as Israel was never really the son of God but used as a picture, so too it wasn’t the body of Christ but was imagery for us to grow in our understanding.
Christ is our Head and we the believers are His body. We are “living stones” from all nations. He is “The Chief Cornerstone” that we are assembled to. We do not wait for another Israel or another Jesus or some rapture to accomplish this. Our inheritance is “eternal in the Heavens”.
So “in your seed all the nations of the Earth shall be blessed” was not a Jewish thing has shown true because before the “Throne of God are people “of every language tribe and tongue”. None had precedence over the others. There are no Jews between God and man, just Christ. Not the 2nd coming Christ but “The Lamb of God” as referring to His last great saving act. The cross is the act that wualifies Him. And for that reason He is the only mediator, the only go between and link to God is Christ. Everyone must enter the Kingdom of Heaven through Christ by Faith to access “The Kingdom of God at hand”. Our equal footing is faith in His Son. As Christ is lifted up in this way He will draw all people to Himself.
Christ is the Israel of God. The Israel of old was to mimick the new. The Israel of today is the impersonator using things fulfilled In Christ “. They resurrect the old by a different spirit. “Whose coming is according to satan with all lying signs and wonders”. A mimicker, a wannabe and a look alike.
Even as Paul said he wished he was accursed for his Jewish friends who were cut off from God “that they may be saved”. He went on to say of the Jews in Romans 9 that “those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” And once again the seed is singular in the Son and passed on the gentiles, meaning all nations and not just the Jews. God blesses the New who enters by faith too. They become another nation in the collection of the gentiles. “All nations”
Paul also said “For in Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. (Thr New Covenant Israel, Mother of us all Gal 4.26) And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.” (Galatians 6) Showing here the true people of God are the renewed in spirit and not a physical thing at all.
The Israel of God, meaning the people of God are the new creation of God who “Old things have past away, all things become new”. Past tense, having happened, eternal in the Heavens. Yes all the law, the prophets and all the Old covenant practices, people, procedures and places have expired and past away. They were fulfilled. All the law and the prophets were till Christ. He is “the new and living”. The old way is paved over as useless and unprofitable. Do we them make void the old law? No. We establish it. We stand on it. It is done. It is the firm foundation in Christ we stand on. He is our ewual footing. “Whoever believes “in Him” will not be put to shame, not earthen Israel. “He came to His own but they did not receive Him, but to as many as receive Him? To them He gave power to become His Children. Not born of man but of God.
Paul in Romans has these words to say of the people of God “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a (true) Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.
The New Covenant Kingdom does not have a front door for the Jew in the side door for other believers. Everyone who is in Christ has equal access and we are the true Jew of the circumcision of the heart. Christ is the gate and we go in through him in find pasture
The Lord said of David, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well that it was in your heart. (1 Kings 8.18)
I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’
David did well that it was in his heart to build Gods things. And the same is true for us. That is because the kingdom cannot be built on Earth and correctly house God. The only place this construction takes place is inside of us. In the heart.
Even as the law states “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
That in the consumation of the fullness of time God would gather together in one all things “in Christ”. That we would take these things and assemble them. Where? In your heart.
And so the construction place being in our heart and the building blocks are not things of time and matter but eternity. Christ said “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him”. Then think it not strange that it needs to be built not in a carnal way like they call a second coming. That City and that time can never house God. Flat-out cannot contain eternity.
All The Heavens and the heavens of Heavens cannot contain God so what makes us think we can pinpoint him to a place in time in a city on earth on a specific day to a specific people to contain God. What a Blasphemous thought. To them God and His Son are limited. They cannot have The gift of God in Christ because they cannot see Him. They wait for another savior. They have been robbed of their inheritance instituted by the shed blood by the lamb of God that established the New Covenant now in effect. They revert back to the old. They, like their predecessors of old, the Jews, look for a kingdom that comes with carnal observation when the kingdom of God is within you. In your heart. (Luke 17.22)
The dispersia are not the people of God so much but the things of God dispensed in scripture and laid out on a timeline called the Feasts of God. And” in the Consumation of the fullness of time God gathers together in one all things in Christ. Whether things in Heaven or earth in Him”. This is why Christ came to fulfill and expire all things in Himself. “Old things pass away and all things are new in Christ”. And they are always new because the eternal can never get old. The ubiquitous person “in Christ” and not a carnal place where things get old and die.
Even as the Holy Spirit, the invisible female part of the God head in Christ, of whom “in Him dwells the fullness of the God head body, She said “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hengathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!”
Today many still resist the gathering and ascribe it also to a day and a place in time on planet earth and go astray in their heart, the place for these things to be built. Woe is them!
In this way He is the bread of life in the spirit. His words are spirit and life, but carnal flesh and blood does not inherit the Kingdom. But the elect do. We have it now. “We have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who calls us”. What more can He do for you? He has given us every spiritual blessing in Christ “. We now have everything to enjoy what the Godhead does. How? By building and establishing these invisible building blocks where? In our hearts.
The things that were broken down for our understanding and dispensed, being dispersed in a timely fashion are these various invisible concepts that are naturally “in Christ”. They are dispensed like a prescription and when we injest it spiritually, it cures us. Christ said “My words are spirit and life”.
For all the law and the prophets from Moses to the carnal replica of Gods city, the city of David, and the carnal replica of Gods Son, Solomon, meaning “Son of Peace” in the city of peace, Jerusalem.
But “we look to the city whose builder and maker is God and we know those who said “Son of David have mercy on us” was speaking of the The Son of God in the City of God built in the heart of David called “Heavenly Jerusalem ” which “comes down of God from Heaven “. Made of Gods invisible attributes of invisible things in the spirit. Made not of earthen rocks. But we are living stones assembled together a habitation of God in the spirit. [1 Peter 1]
For the 2nd coming seekers today? “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hengathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! This is true again today.
So the gospel message that was broken down between the figures of Moses and Solomon has shown its conclusion because Solomon having assembled everything repeated The Works of his father and upon doing so at the 7th Feast of the seventh month having dispensed and dispersed all these things to the people of God sent them on their way. They all went home the year was over all the feasts were completed, the city was assembled there’s nothing left to say. That was the Gospel message laid out over centuries that are fulfilled not in Soloman but “in Christ”. He is all these things and more. Christ is the culmination of all these things. The collection of all the law and the prophets. Expired, caput, done shelved and put away in Christ all things are new in Christ in this way and never had their rightly estate on planet Earth. They were silly play things. For us, we fulfill the verse that says “when that which is perfect has come, that which is in part is done away with” and “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things”. The play things of the old have been sown in our hearts and raised in understanding for our perfection. For even the gifts given for growth are just play things saying “But whether there areprophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” So even prophecies are just pieces to be reassembled in the spirit.
The Law and the prophets displayed Gods things in pieces. Being reassembled in the spirit of our minds is to be perfect in understanding . We understand the conclusion of all things. Having the mind of Christ, we know all things”
To think that the earthen replicates are holy becomes idolatrous notions and blasphemous. It spits in the face of the blood of the lamb. Hebrews says that “as long as the first remains standing, the way into the Holiest is not yet available “. And so these hold on to the old and reject the New even till today. Jerusalem that comes down of God from Heaven? Or the one on earth. And as Christ said “I will never leave you or forsake you” you think that He is gone and must come back? You rejected Him because you don’t accept Him as He is. “Eternal, immortal and invisible, the only wise God. To Him be the Glory in this age and every age. Amen”.
And of the second coming Seekers? You are not mindful of the things of God but the things of men. For the things of men are an abomination in the sight of God”. And that is what the expectation of the second coming Seekers is all about. It’s a monstrous Abomination to think that God will occupy Earth and Humanity in that way over. It is a monstrous lie if possible to deceive the elect.
Just as Paul had to transition from being a Pharisee. So too we have to transition from being a second coming Seeker. The Jews physical expectation of a king and the 2nd coming seekers are both one and the same lie. Both came out of a dark hole of carnal confussion.
Today we have no gathering but a continual fracturing of the things of God into more and more denominations and cults. But yo the elect?
As always and eternal true, without delay or have time events called “the tribulation ” The Kingdom of God is now and Forever At Hand
He is whatever He wants to be and whatever you need. Be it a greater than Jonah, Soloman, the temple or whatever. He is “The fulfiller of all things”. All things are made new “In Christ” in this way. They are set up in the spirit of our minds. The place of our transfiguration. They are re-assembled there to be operational.
Like with a well. A hole must be dug. Water must be found. A hoist must be built to raise and lower a rope with a bucket, and until all these things are found, made and gathered together and assembled, you cannot have any water. And even then, if you wore yourself out and find yourself to exhausted to operate the well yourself, you need another to do so. You are as good as dead. And this is the gospel. The only thing we can do is to accept our humble disposition, acknowledge the person behind each of the provisions and promises in scripture, use them to re-script your understanding by assembling these truths about God and His Son and expire them in the spirit of your mind as invisible components necessary to be all connected together for the faith to work. And just as a power plant produces nothing until it is turned on, so too with the gospel. The operational switch is our compliance by faith to the leading of the Holy Spirit in accordance with the Word of God beleiving in all things fulfilled and reassembled in ourself to be operational.
“What must we do to do the works of God? Believe on Him who is sent. Christ. You see this is our work of faith and in this way we are building an invisible Kingdom inside ourselves by expiring all the law and the prophets. The things that were made according to the pattern? We expire the things that were made as models on earth of the operational, invisible and accept what the pattern portrayed. God. The accumulative and the culmination of who God is.
Just as Aaron was taken out of Moses, so too are all the charecteristics of God taken of them then broken down into smaller pieces called “all the law and the prophets”, for our understanding.
In this way Christ is the bread of life come down of God from heaven. Not carnal life but eternal life for our spirit to live.
From the exile of Egypt starting with the passover (picturing our baptism) where the angel of death by-passes us, Christ paved over death for us in this way. To the crossing of the Red Sea to newness of life. Since this generation portrayed all the wrong ways of doing things we fast forward to Joshua for another Passover. They got a do over. Moses failed to hallow the Lord to the people when he was instructed to “speak to the rock he smote it”. Moses made a work of man something he should’ve done a work of the Heavenly Father and spoke “let there be…”. In this case not light or dividing of days and earth but “let there be water”. These things Moses did not do, and therefor was grounded from heaven. For even at the end of his days when he asked the Lord to enter the promise land he was denied and instead taken to Mt Nebo to look at it. That is like taking someone with all the education tools and hard work to be a doctor left standing on a street corner begging for food while they look across the field at the most beautiful estate. Something Moses could’ve had if he just obeyed the Lord.
Hebrews 2.2 Therefore we must give [a]the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just [b]reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord,
The scripture say that Christ was born King. He did not have to earn that right and He did not have to go to school to learn this right. He was “born King”. And he was born a king, but not any King, but the King of Kings. It is because He was Word of the Father, His express image before He became flesh and dwelt among us, that He is King because He is the true heir of all that the Father has, being His invisible attributes and Kingdom that is “not of this age”. This is what qualifies Him to be King. And not some supposed king of the Jews, but “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS”. And for that matter the one and only true exact image of the Father. Even as He stated during His short tenor on earth “I and the Father are one”. Totally congruent and inseparable as are all the lower level carnal representations meant only to teach us of God. What we see in the old law and the prophets and throughout the new covenant that we learn to raise up to their proper domain “in spirit and truth” in our understanding.
It was pilot who asked him “are you the king of his Jews” to which he said “it is as you say”. When pressed on this issue He did not deny He was King. He just answered and said “my kingdom is not of this age for if my kingdom was of this age I would send Legions and they would fight for me but my kingdom is not from here”. For us who know, He was speaking about His Throne eternal in the heavens. Not of the created realm. Not of this world.
You see Christ as king is of a kingdom that precedes and supersedes and completely permeates all ages. For “it is In Him we live and dwell and have our existence.” He does not have to become of earn anything or it could not be said of Him that “He is the same yesterday and today”. You see He is an unchangeable timeless reality that exist only in spirit and truth. As a matter of fact, if you erase all the creation of the 1st 6 days, be it the earth, the heavens and all the stars and galaxies plants and animals. And even the invisible angels, powers and principalities and rulers of darkness are under His domain or He would not be the same, and He would not be “King of kings and Lord of Lords” for there would be a power out of His control.
When God first made things after each day He looked at what He did and said “it is good”. And upon the completion of all things on the 6th and final day He said “it was good” then He thought of all the variables and all the possibilities of all the entities he had made including angels and men, then He said “It is very good”. Like looking at a big chess board He played out every scenario and every move that anything of all creation,man and angels could say do or think and God said to Himself “I have this in control”. “I got this”.
God is not looking down on planet earth, wringing His hands wondering how He is going to regain control and wrap this up age. Everything is meticulously laid out according to His standard of perfection that is far above our comprehension, as are all the mysteries of God. This is why we learn only by revelation. For the time has come when I will tell you plainly about the Father”. And so He does and He does not need the old covenant law or prophets to do so. This greater salvation we talk about exists only in spirit and truth, which is our calling.
We who are joint heirs and of those who are “least in the Kingdom are greater than all the law and prophets” it is us who can connect the dots to help you understand the things that were seen dimly that the prophets could only elude to. We clarify what they were trying to convey in their carnal nature to those with a carnal nature. But we are born from above of word and spirit to occupy the heavenlies. Christ told the disciples “many righteous men and the Prophets have desired to see what you see, and hear what you hear and could not. We are the elect who know these things. And we see God face to face because Christ said “he who has seen Me has seen the Father”. That is us the elect of God. This is our rightful due gifted to us from the Father and paid for by the blood of Christ through the eternal spirit of things that are now in force. Something that another Jesus cannot do. He still needs to become king. Poor guy. And he is relying on the Jews of our day to pull this off. Woe are those who have that savior. He needs a lot of help. It is an insult to the living God. we gladly except the gift of God in Christ Jesus. God Himself
Daniel said this of Christ that “He raises up Kings and brings down Kings and gives wisdom to the wise”. Showing that His type of Kingship and Kingdom was above creation because he could orchestrate all the kingdoms of the earth like a chess player does with the pieces on a board.
Romans 9.17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.”[g]18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
Yes Christ was born King and once again he did not have to earn this right for this reason he came into the world and he set the record straight. He is the king that laid aside his deity to come and retrieve his disciples. And in John 13 He displays this very well.3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, 4 rose from supper and laid aside His (Royal)garments, took a towel (a rag we call the flesh) and girded Himself. 5 After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His (Royal) garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
To this we say yes. You Lord have just shown us your eschatology. You have shown us your end time scenario. You became flesh and dwelled among us. You finished all the law and the prophets, you established the new covenant, your last work on earth. Why? “Because I go to My Father and you see Menomore” (like a second coming) And being assured that you have granted the elect access to your “Kingdom at Hand” being at our proverbial fingertips. And because “You are the way to the Father”, We follow you Lord and fulfill your prayer to the Father of Glories saying “Father, that they whom you have given me may be with Me where I am. To behold My glory that the world may know. And Father. The glory you have given Me I have given them. That they may be one as we are one. So we are. We are as one as Christ who said “I and the Father are one. So we too join these.22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Hebrews 12.22+) we are part of the symposium of the many, the congruence into one. Reconciled to the Father as Paul pleaded “Be ye reconciled to the Father. God was In Christ reconciling the world to Himself and has given us this ministry of reconciliation.
Boom! That is the whole purpose of our sojourn-ship here on earth. It is to reach this point, our purpose, our goal and the conclusion of the gospel. 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; To become godly. Godlike. Like God.
Who does the Father of spirits begat? Invisible ones. Paul said “we are sown a physical body and raised a spiritual one” this is us. Who does the Father of Glories begat? Glories like Himself. We are the Glories glorified with the Father seated at His own right hand. Bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh born of the spirit and word to be “a kind of firstfruits of His creation”. Not a 6 day creation but an eternal one clothed in the very invisible attributes of the invisible God. We have learned to “put on Christ” in this way. We put off the old at baptism by the working of faith and are raised in newness of life also by faith. We who have begun in the spirit perfect nothing in the old creation. It is from faith to faith. And you know what? Each and every transition happens by the Holy Spirit in the twinkling of an eye. Completely un-decernable to the human senses. We have ears to hear and eyes to see of another nature to understand this.

So here is something we have to say about him who was born King. He was also born many other things. He did not have to earn a right or to become something as though he was not for “Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
With Mary she said yes Lord I know that you will raise him up on the last day, speaking about Lazarus. And Christ reply to her? “Mary I am the resurrection”. It is not an event or a series of events like the 2nd coming seekers suppose. The resurrection is a person. Which is why paul said “since you are raised with Christ, seek the things above”. His things. And “Since we were buried with Him in death by baptist. We are also raised with Him to newness of life. As Isaiah put it “With My dead body they shall arise”, and so we did.
So Christ could have also told Mary, I am not just the resurrection. I am also the last day”. Just as He said to the Pharisees “Abraham rejoiced to see My Day. He saw it and was glad”. Christ is that day. Because even as we define an earthen day by the sun with 24 hour increments, The Lords day is lit by the light of the lamb and has no need for the sun or the moon. In whom is no darkness at all. No nights. This is how we walk in the light as He is in the light. Because He is that light. He is the radiance of God. He is the Glory of God. He wears it for our transfiguration (2 Corinthians 3.18). The source of all light. The light Paul encountered on the road to Emaus being “7 times brighter than the sun”. Have you had this encounter? It is the only true light that shines in the heart of every man (John 1)
So for those who are waiting for the “day of the lord” to appear as defined by the sun, as if God is on hold, as if God is limited to these, don’t understand what the true day is. It is the day “in Christ”. And if “we walk in the light as He is light”, we are in that day. Wasn’t it the condemnation to those under the law stuck in the wilderness who rejected this call with the Lord saying of His Sabbath, His day without 24 hour increments, His day that has no night, The Lords day, The day of The Lord:
4 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,[a] not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
“So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’”[b]
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; [c]5 and again in this place:“They shall not enter My rest.”
You see there are many that thought that when Christ came into the world he had to earn something in order to be something. So they don’t think anybody was raised from the dead until Christ was raised from the dead first. But he showed himself as the resurrection before he ever went to the Cross showing for us that he did not have to become anything for the Eternal one cannot change and cannot earn he already owns.
You see there was never a person a place a provision or a promise from God that Christ was not. Why? Because Christ is the Fulfillment of all things. Be at Shiloh, be at the son of David, be it that prophet, be at that Messiah, being the high priest in the order of Melchizedek be it “that day”. These are all just descriptive of Himself, there is no provision from the father that is not Christ. Everything they were looking for was wrapped up into the person people call Jesus Christ.
Scripture says that “in him, meaning Christ, dwells the fullness of the godhead body”. That is why “all things are in Christ”
Scripture says of Christ that he comes and his reward is with him. That is because the reward is himself. With Moses he had asked the Lord what should I tell the people whom you are who sent me. The Lord replied tell him that I am. Meaning I am fill in the blank. Whatever they were looking for in whatever they needed they would find in the sun who’s a duplicate of the father. Even as with the disciples when they were on the boat in the waters got choppy and Rocky to where they thought they would die, as soon as they received Christ into their boat, their vessel, they found out they were already where they needed to be. They just needed a renewed understanding as do some of us. The disciples were confused when they were in the boat but as soon as they were in Christ there was nothing confusing at all. End of The Great I Am? When the Pharisees were inquiring him as to who he was he said that “I am”. When the soldiers that came with Judas to take Christ he said the same words I am in the men fell over backwards.
Epilogue:
There are many caught up in and infatuated with the Jerusalem of our day. They anticipate the Messiah and King to come back and live in their city after they have it refurbished for Him. They say “we have a chief cornerstone ready to lay”. We have found a red heifer and are ready to commense the sacrifices to please our king.
