The promises to the fathers have been fulfilled

And behold, the word of the Lord came to Abraham, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

For those who are of the faith in believing the same way? These are the sons of Abraham for they do the deeds of their father. They believe.

This verse has no future interpretation as it was fulfilled in Deuteronomy 2 saying “10 The Lord your God has multiplied you, and here you are today, as the stars of heaven in multitude.

The Lord clarified to Abraham this promise after He explained to him that Hagar’s son was not his son of promise but that “from Sarah thy seed shall be”, as being the heir of promise. You see Hagar having a son was the best Abraham could do of human endeavor. God doesn’t need our help. As Paul explained in his discourse “cast off the bondwoman and her son” that Hagar corresponded to the Jerusalem on earth that was then in contrast to “Heavenly Jerusalem” that is now “The Mother of us all” being an eternal timeless place, speaking of the Jerusalem of promise by faith and not of human endeavor.

These are the heirs of promise of “thy seed shall be according to the stars in number” speaking of the gentiles being the heirs of faith and not the Israelite’s or the Jews. The Israelites were the culture  that came after as being containment and rehabilitation center for those without faith. That is why “all the law and the prophets were expired “In Christ”.

As we see with all the promises to the fathers, the Israelite’s and the Jewish culture that God was under no obligation to revisit His promise to the earthen Jew along with Moses and Sinai because God kept His promise to them already as shown here of the promised land.

Joshua 21.43

43 So the Lord gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. 44 The Lord gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers.(including Abraham Isaac and Jacob) And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. 45 Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” Quote and end quote.

And again in Solomon. 1Kings 4 “20 Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing. 21 So Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the River[f] to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.”

These promises were fulfilled. Bringing them into the promised land is a foregone conclusion. This is why those promises were no longer spoken of and why they never again became the focal point of faith. And of subsequent promises?

The Lord speaking to David said  “When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed (once again singular) after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” And Solomon did not do this. He was only another carnal visual to explain the eternal things.

We see here again like with Hagar and Sarah, being earthen Jerusalem and Sarah representing the Heavenly, invisible Jerusalem, that the first fulfillment was in picture form. Or parable form “for without a parable spake He not to the people”. We come to know the Christ of scriptures as the true “Son of David who would rule” and not Solomon.

It is written of the Christ that “He was born King” who also said for this reason I have come into the world” to accept that right. His birth right. “King of kings and Lord of lords”.

So Christ expired and fulfilled those promises. And because Christ fulfilled those words we should not expect another future or current fulfillment to be redone, but a denial of the words  just quoted.

Paul learned of this saying “old things have past away”, speaking of the articles, buildings, feasts, people, land and culture of Israel and the Old Testament Law. That “all things have become new”. Hence the New Covenant is in force with the death of a testator. Like with any inheritance. Untill the testator dies the will of testament is not in force. But Christ died. Christ took on the curse of the law. Now we being dead to the law (Old Covenant) have the New covenant. As it says in Hebrews “He takes away the first to establish the second.” And the first was a contrast in opposition of the new. One is the Covenant of death. The other of life. (if any of the artifacts of the old have any value in your thinking, you cannot have the new.

Just as Paul said that “in the reading of Moses a veil lies over the heart. But the veil is done away in Christ”. For those who are stuck in the old covenant are blinded in this way having a carnal expectation. “But we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves (human endeavor), but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter (the law and Jewish culture) but of the Spirit;[a] for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.”

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh (the visible). Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; (of the New Covenant) old things have passed away (of the Old Covenant); behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, (an act accomplished at the cross and not another Jesus), not imputing their trespasses to them, (because we are dead to the law by the death of Christ) and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” You see there is no reconciliation through the old covenant but future expectations. But since “all things are made new in the Christ of the cross”, then that is where we need to see the fulfillment of all things. In Christ at the cross. Not the man of flesh but of the spirit. He said “My words are spirit and life”. Who also said one needs to be born again a new man. Who also said “If I tell you carnal, earthen things and you do not understand, how can I tell you heavenly, invisible?” You cannot make the appropriate transformation. Better yet your transfiguration. Why? Because you are earthly minded seeing all the promised needing to take visible form and not by faith. For one who comes to God must first believe that He is. “Faith being the unseen substance” and that He rewards us who seek His things from before the 6days when God said “let there be”.  We precede these. (Hebrews 11.) We look to the city whos builder and maker is God, whose design and composition are spirit and truth, for the Father seeketh such. This is why John said “Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning.” You see it is not an end times thing at all. It is from the beginning as the Kingdom prepared from before the foundations of the world. “The Kingdom of God is at hand and all are pressing into it”. Luke 16.16

We endure as seeing Him who is invisible, who takes on no form for your carnal infatuations. For it is a wicked and adulterous genome that seeks after signs. And that is all modern day Jerusalem is. A flesh fest which is spiritually called Sodom (Revelation 11). The Sodomites said “bring them out that we may know them”, and that is what the carnal mind does to all scripture. Make it visibly known to us and we will believe.  To believe a fact and seek not “as it were by faith”.

It is the elect who “no longer know Christ according to the flesh” in a carnal way but in spirit and truth. We need no superficial carnal visuals We have taken all the persons, offices and attributes about God pictured in all the law and the prophets and given them their rightful due to be “Fulfilled” being assembled. Where? In the spirit of our minds. Sown corruptible, earthen, raised incorruptible spiritual. Each one in their own order, and not a future collective called the second coming! Corinthians 15.43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” And spirit is not carnally tangible. It associates w it’s the invisible. As do those who are “born of the spirit”.

For these reasons the promises of old are not even spoken of in the new. An earthly city in the land of promise with a physical king have no relevance because of their fulfillment as seen in Ephesians 3. 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built (past tense) upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

The only way you can expect another earthly fulfillment is to deny Gods work in His Son at the cross.. He does not need a do over because you don’t believe. It is your unbelief that disqualifies you for the “Kingdom of God at Hand” and repurposes you for another. Yes! Another coming one whose works are according to Satan with all lying signs and wonders if possible to deceive the elect”. Why? Because that is what God has in store for those who have heard and tasted of the things of God and insult the spirit of grace by going back to the old condemned, fulfilled expired and put away “all the law and the prophets” with the culture they were the heart of. These whose allthough they knew God glorified Him not as God. Their foolish hearts were darkened and turned the Glory of the eternal God into the image of a man”. (Romans 1) It is also said of these in 2 Thessalonians 2.And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. The old Covenant law yielded “none righteous, no not one”. How can you take pleasure in a re-enactment of that? The 2 Covenant Kingdoms do not coexist and the choice is yours. “12 If we have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if we tell you heavenly things?

Luke 17.16 “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.” What are you waiting for”
