General Assembly, church of the firstborn

Hebrews 12.22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstbornwho are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Here we have in scripture from the holy writ, a verse that is overlooked by the greater portion of Christian denominations. It flies in the face of carnal thinking and understanding. It by-passes time and matter and ascribes what is seen by most as a future event at some event in the sky at a final moment in eschatology, or end time scenarios and talks about a current reality in the spirit as fact to experience saying “but you have come”.

I will draw first from the phrase “General Assembly” also translated “Festive Gathering”. This is a direct correlation to the feasts celebrated by the Israelite’s. The 7 feasts that the whole body of believers partook of was the partaking of the body of Christ (1 Cor 10.1-14). This they displayed 3 times or seasons a year at Pass-over, first fruits and End gathering also called Tabernacles and Atonement. And they gathered for these when they were instructed by the trumpet blasts from the leaders. As they gathered for these events it was all the rituals and articles being eternal concepts and timeless realities of Jesus Christ “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. These things that they practiced carnally were suppose to imprint these eternal concepts indelibly in their hearts and minds to understand them as spiritual truths to be realized or actualized in a believer. These practices, rituals, and concepts of truth were to train them for proper relationship with the Father as they were able to understand.

They gathered together as one man in the Son of God (Exodus 4.22) partaking of Israel His first born to learn from these things then trade in the physical for the eternal “each one in their own time” (1 Corinthians 15.23) That when faith had come they were no longer under the tutor” (Gal 3.23). This did not happen to the whole nation at once but each person in their own time. And anyone back then who realized and actualized this by faith were a new creation even as it was said of Joshua and Caleb that “they were of a different spirit. They wholly followed the Lord”. If this were not true and as most believe, that no one was born of the spirit before Pentecost then Paul could not have said that the flesh man persecuted the spiritual man like Ishmael persecuted Isaac (Gal 4.29). Or even Cain and Abel

This is why Jesus chided Nicodemus for not knowing that one must be born again saying “are you the teacher of Israel and you do not know these things?” It is so easy for us to think dispensation-ally in our humanness because we have to see to believe, but the gospel message was not new with Jesus. It was that all the patterns that Moses saw on Sinai where He took his sandals off because the ground was holy, was now poured into the person of Jesus Christ of whom it is said “I am not worthy to loosen His sandals”. Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of all the law and the prophets. They all had their end and all have expired in the life and times of Jesus Christ. “God who in times past spoke to the fathers by the law and the prophets has in these last days spoken to us by His Son Heb 1.1). There is no more speaking. There is no more prophesying. We however do have the prophetic word delivered to us that is more sure than anything they experienced even more sure than having Jesus in His transfigured form (2 Peter 1.16-19) We look back to the cross and the power of the resurrection that propelled Jesus to the highest place in all created realms as our source for transformation for our own transfiguration in the here and now. We learn the eternal value of all the feasts, rituals and articles and are re-newed in the mind by them. We put them on. This is putting on Christ, and the highest degree they learned in the spirit by their feast’s is tabernacles and atonement of which we have received the atonement/reconciliation now in our tabernacle/tent or also translated Booths. “Know ye not that you are the temple of God?” and of Jesus “Through whom we have now received the Atonement”.

And 2 Corinthians 5.17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

The whole purpose of all the feasts was this. Atonement, meaning at-one-ment now, reconciled, joined together now. Not at an end time event. Even as Paul went on to say “I implore you! (I am begging you) on Christs behalf be reconciled to the Father. This is the General Assemble, the Festive Gathering if you are able to receive it. It is all the law with it’s feasts and articles complete in Christ.

So you see it is not as end timers view of something in the future to happen in time and matter as they wait for the feast of trumpets so they can be gathered together and be one with Jesus. That is a foolish cause and focus, for it denies the works Jesus did. Jesus Christ was the expectation and all that the law and the prophets taught is not our future expectation but our starting point. They are the foundation on which we stand not a future event “for no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid which is Christ Jesus”. And again “all the law and the prophets were until Christ. Now the Kingdom is preached and all are pressing their way into it”.

This brings us to another phrase in our beginning verse of Hebrews 12. 22-23, Heavenly Jerusalem. So we will stop here for now and continue later with the place of our citizenship which is when?

Ephesians 2.19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Blessings

Last time anti-christs and Elijah

Deceptions of the Last Hour

1 John 2.18 Little children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that the[c] Antichrist is coming, even now many anti-christs have come, by which we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

1 John 4.1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

The writer John here talks about some who were among them, who would leave them and teach other things. John was safe guarding the believers from these anti-christs who went out from them. It is easy to think of other beliefs and other religions when thinking about this anti-christ spirit that was then and expected to grow. But it was from among them that the falsehood would come.

As part of his safe guard John coined some new phrases, and these phrases are relevant to the message about those trying to deceive them and you. And if they were aware that this falsehood was coming they needed to certainly be aware that it already was. If it was small then to get bigger, what is it today?

Well let’s unlock that by associating it with Johns newly termed phrases.  Two of them are related to time. “that which was from the beginning” and “the last time”. These terms were for our safe guarding as well as the term “anti-christ” being those who left them to manifest a new spirit or teaching that violated the truth that Jesus Christ had come in the flesh and need not do so again. Those who deny this, who came out from them, believe something different but similar enough to deceive. If it was not similar it would be no threat but this threat that now 2000 years later has become the threat of all threats to violate the faith once and for all delivered to the saints. This threat ignores the message “from the beginning” and teaches another “last time” for John to have to clarify that they were already in “the last time”.

His message is that the anti-christ that came out of them is a counterfeit to the truth that obscures “that which is from the beginning”, that also obscures “Him who has come in the flesh” who brought salvation. They teach another last time or end times and another coming in the flesh and another saving from planet earth. Hmm! Who might that be?

That is right. The message preached from end timers of a coming 7 year tribulation speak of another Jesus to come again in another end time on the world scene to save His people and bring salvation to planet earth. Yes, another Jesus to appear on the human stage. This just leaves people in the mindset of having to still be saved by a savior.

Johns point in us needing to believe that Jesus the Son of God has come, is that what end time seekers expect Jesus to do at a 2nd coming, is what He already did in the beginning, and we already have what they expect to get.

Look what else John said about this.. 1 John 5.4 “and what is the victory that overcomes the world? Even our faith!” Now that verse discredits a 2nd coming as our victory focus altogether. To overcome the world is not an end time, last time or another day event. And the anti-christs are those who teach another end time with another Jesus for delivering us from this world. And they do this because they do not believe the true gospel. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and brought salvation to us once and for all…

This is scary stuff if you are mixed up in it. Is it the gospel message of the 2nd coming that saves us? Or that which is from the beginning” that John teaches and affirms? John felt it important enough to address this by letter. Is it the message of the cross and the blood of Christ?  Or a tribulation a rapture and a future resurrection that overcomes the world and saves you? So when Jesus came to save, did He do that then? Or just give you a promissory note? Is He King of Kings now or must He become that at a 2nd coming? Is He in full Glory now or must He come here to claim the victory? Did He defeat satan sin and death already? Or does He do that for you later?

If you are not sure I am afraid for you for you walk in darkness. But we walk in the light for no lie is of the truth. In Him is no darkness or ambiguities. And we are “In Him” this is true to the one who has faith. The 2nd coming message is based on supposed future facts for the carnal senses which violates all the principles of faith. being “the substance of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11.1)

Jesus said in John 12.31 “Now is the judgment of this world! Now the ruler of this world is cast out!”

Was this a prophesy of a future event? Empty words with no immediate value? I think not if you have faith in the one who said it “from the beginning” for He cannot lie. Every word He ever spoke was accomplished the moment He said it as evidenced by Him speaking forth creation. He who said “Let there be light”? He said “arise and walk”.

Another “last time” or another end time teaching of another deliverer to save you keeps you from the gift of God that is “In Christ” now.

You cannot receive this reward because you are closed off thinking it is later. You have faith in a fairy tale of fallen fairies.

You shouldn’t just ponder this message but you should flee. I mean if John equates another last hour, end times with “anti-christ”? It is anti-christ because it rejects the truth that he has saved, delivered, redeemed, and atoned for His people. He put away transgression, made reconciliation for inequity, He brought us everlasting righteousness, He sealed up vision and prophesy and was anointed Most Holy as Jesus said “Now the Son of man is Glorified. And if God is Glorified in Him, God will also Glorify Him immediately.” And He did.

Now there is the Father and Son I know. Who is this 2nd coming deliverer? An impostor to steal your focus from the truth!  He is anti-christ as is the whole message of another coming one to save. You clearly have not accepted that Christ already came in the flesh to do that, and who is anti-Christ. He who believes Jesus must come again in the flesh to save. This is antichrist

That which we have seen we have heard we have handled”. Not what you will see hear and handle later at a 2nd coming, but that which is “from the beginning”.

John the Baptist appeared on the public scene in the spirit and power of Elijah. His ministry and teaching directed many from the city Jerusalem where our Lord was slain that was spiritually called Sodom, (Rev 10.6) and He made  straight the paths of the Lord. His message was not a future kingdom but came preaching that “the Kingdom of God is at hand” in the here and now even back then.  They rejected him then as those who do so now,  who cannot receive this truth from the scriptures and have changed it for a lie “if possible to deceive the elect”

The term “2nd coming is not found once in the bible.  It was Elijah who said in his day (1 Kings 18.40) seize the prophets of baal! Do not let one of them escape! And this you should do. Purge your mind and spirit from this garb called “end times”  and make straight the way for the Lord to you. Let this be your Elijah moment for “Elijah has come!” (Mt 17.12) And if you do this then the Lord of Glory can appropriately come take His seat in the throne room of your mind and spirit now like you expect Him to do later.  For “at the appropriate time I have heard, and the day of salvation? I have helped! Says the Lord. (Isaiaih 49.8) “Behold now is the accepted time! Now is the day of the saving! (2 Corinthians 6.2)

So the disciples asked then “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come?” The spiritually blind or dead say the same thing today. If they cannot receive Elijah, they surely cannot receive salvation. If you have received the real Savior. Jesus said “You will see me no more until you say “Save now! Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” Some did in His day. He stands at the door and knocks but it is the door of the heart that is closed because of the lie that says “it is later at the “last time”.

Kingdom of God is at hand

Antichrist and the Last time Deception in 1st John

1 John 2.18 Little children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many anti-christs have come, by which we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

To be, or not to be. “In Christ” 9/14/14

Posted on September 16, 2014 by ADMIN

To be in Christ is some what obscured. If we better understand what this means we can better know the gift of God given to us “In Christ” Jesus.

Let’s start with the name Jesus. Unlike how we think of names like John or Jane or what ever. Names for the most part have a certain ring without much association. Many parents may research name meanings to pick one but for the most part a name is not also used as a word. The name of our Lord is how ever different in that regard. His name has specific meaning. Like some cultures with the last name. Like Schumaker, or Smith  or Carpenter, the name is also a word and associates with the trade of that family. We will see that Jesus came in the name of the Father.

When Mary and Joseph were instructed to give a name it was for this very reason. He meant what the word, or name meant. There is a lot of ambiguity and confusion over this name partially because of how it has evolved over the years. We use the name “Jesus”. But if we dig into how this name was developed into the name Jesus we see that there is a lot just underneath the surface to understand. The name Jesus was properly interpretated “Joshua” in Hebrews 4. All other renderings in the Greek were translated “Jesus”. Both names Jesus and Joshua come from the Greek word #2424 and is directly referenced from Hebrew #3091 and means “Yeshua saved”.
We can correctly understand more about His name as we study the name Joshua. The Hebrew concordance shows # 3091 broken down comes from #3068+7 meaning Jehovah, or Yehovah, which is commonly translated into “Lord” and # 3467 and in Hebrew pronounced “Yahsha”. It means “savior” to make safe, free, delivered and succor. So when people heard the name they understood that Joshua/Jesus was the savior, or deliverer by His name. Isn’t that the very role Joshua the successor of Moses pictured?

And here again. When the people cried out of Jesus saying “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord”. They understood that Hosanna was this same name. As you trace it back from the Greek into Hebrew we see from Psalms 118.25 which is worded “Save now! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Nah means now. So what you would have heard would’ve been Yasha now! (save now) Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yasha. The name and the phrase are completely inter-changible.

When people said “Jesus” they knew His name meant savior, the one who makes free, safe and succor. The deliverer and  redeemer.

So the one from God who comes in His name and saves. His name is what He does. When we say that we are “in Christ” we should understand it as they did that we are in the anointed of God who saves, frees, delivers, redeems and makes save and succor because we are “in Christ” and not because He must come back to do that later. If we think the Jesus Christ must come again to do that then we do not have faith in what His name means and I guess His name really doesn’t mean what the word means. So be it according to your faith. Is He or isn’t He what all the testimony says He is?

So when John the baptist sent message to Jesus asking “are you the coming one, or do we seek another”. “Jesus denied not but said “go tell John what you see and hear. That the blind see and the lame walk”. All this accomplished immediately at His word. He demonstrated the gospel with “power unto salvation” which is to be with Him where He is in spirit and truth
Okay then His name means all those things. Now if we see that it means that in contrast to something then we get a bigger picture. God created the contrasts of light and dark and such for definition and the contrast of being “in Christ” is to not be “in Adam”. Here we have the old creature and the new creature. So when scripture says we are a new creature this is what it means. Just as all things are in Christ, it is the “all things” of the new creation. All things have their fulfillment “in Him”, in Jesus Christ. The first man Adam of the flesh with earthly possessions to return to dust and the new man Christ born of the spirit with heavenly possessions seated in the heavenlies. One creature with a sin nature and the new one “Righteous even as He is righteous. (1 John 5..)

So when scripture says that “He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies”. It is as it was pictured “in Joshua” They had to move forward into the promises and appropriate them by faith. We do this now that we have become a saint, meaning one whose identity is “In Christ” “If God said so, we are able”.

Didn’t we take on our new identity at baptism where we bury the old man by the working of faith to be raised new “In Christ”? That the Adamic nature has passed away and “all things become new” as we associate with Christ’s death and His resurrection?
This is what baptism means, and if we take our proclamation from baptism at faith value then we do not have to look to our physical body to die for our being risen “in Christ” to be our new reality. We died because He died. We are risen because He is risen, we are seated with Him because He is, and we are all that right now because “As He is so are we in the world”. So if we are “In Christ” We are where He is and we have forgone the need to personally experience death to be resurrected at some future point in time, for “He by the grace of God has tasted death for every man”.
So the price is paid. Even as Christ told His disciples ” As I said to the Jews that you cannot follow me, you too cannot follow me now, but you shall follow me after ward”. He spoke of His death and resurrection. We follow Him now. And this means to follow Him where He is as He prayed in John 17. This is W.W.J.D.? Not random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty, but “That where I am you may be also”. To “follow the Lamb wherever He goes”.

Here then we no longer identify with our old Adamic sinful nature by being “In Adam”, but we take His gift we identify as “In Christ” in His death and His resurrection now becoming our death and our resurrection gifted to us from the working of the cross and the life of Jesus Christ on earth. We proceed forward in this new life.
If Romans could be reduced to a main theme it is this which we speak. The new life in the spirit.

It is as if you are in a car race and you see a jalopy off the track, broke down headed the wrong direction with your name on it. You can go stand next to it in shame or go to the winners circle where the victory party has commenced. Are you in the old creation of the flesh? Or the new being “In Christ”? And from Joshua “choose you this day!”

So our first step was baptism which was also symbolized in the Passover. This is your cross over from death to life. Even as the Egyptians lost their first born, you became one of Gods. We do not follow Moses for their dead bodies died in the wilderness because they would not believe. They had not faith. But we do however resume our journey with Joshua/Jesus. Our promise land is His word full of promises. And if you are new “in Christ” and all things are new, then unlike Adam who walks the earth created for him by the first word, Christ being the Word of God, and we walk in the promises, this happens “in Christ in the heavenlies, and not “In Adam” on earth. Then after we are in the land of His word we journey to the heavenly city that was portrayed in the earthly city called Jerusalem. You see even as Joshua was instructed to lead the people into the land to give them their inheritance and He did so, he still spoke of another day symbolizing that what they did only mimicked the spirit but that there was also more.
The same way with Jerusalem. And this was the reason the Lord had them build up and inhabit Jerusalem, to be evicted some 30 plus times. From 1 Corinthians 13.– when that which is perfect has come that which is in part is done away with”. This is speaking about spiritual harvests into the ever ready Kingdom of God when He takes away the physical. Hebrews 8..”He takes away the first to establish the second. The physical has trae in value for the eternal. Gal 4 But after faith has come you are no longer under the law, and other teaching tools.

So if we can see all the Old Testament earthen pictures as spiritual realities to pursue and obtain, then we do not need a physical city anymore at all. They had the old pictures, but we have the prophetic word more sure. Their very accounts written down for our understanding sustain us in the here and now if we take them as heavenly manna and not being ignorant not knowing His word and power in the gospel actuated by faith.
The only thing that keeps us out of truly being “in Christ”is believing in false doctrines. There are many who trade the truth for “the lie if possible to deceive the elect” That Jesus must come again to save us as though He didn’t perform salvation right the first time. Salvation is not a down payment as though it’s a holding cell. “You are complete “in Him” who is the head of all power and principality” now if you are “In Christ”.
You cannot be “In Christ” and not be with Him. And if you are “In Him” and with Him who said “Lo I am with you always”. Who also said “I will never leave you or forsake you”, why then must He come a 2nd time to do something as though you do not have?  Pursue the matters in faith.

In due time we shall reap. Your time of visitation

From Galatians 6.9 for in due time we shall reap if we do not faint”. The phrase due time is better rendered “own time” or “personal time” indicating that this is not a collective reaping like a 2nd coming . And of Israel of old who “knew not their time of visitation”. But we do. This is our appointed time if you have ears to hear.

This word from the Greek “due” is translated “own” several times like here in 1 Corinthians 15. 23 of the resurrection and being made alive, quickened.. That it will happen “to each one in his own (due) order”. This is not a collective event that we all have to wait for as the 2nd coming seekers teach, but each one in their own order. And same chapter verse 38 speaking of a resurrected that  “every seed their own body. Their own order.

So these concepts, better yet spiritual truths are manifest in their own time, due time, private time, each one in their own order.  By the one who “stands at the door (of your heart) and knocks”. Who need not to reappear again in a carnal construct to do so.

We need to quit looking at the various stages of our faith as a collective event fulfilled all at once at a second coming and allow yourself to advance step by step now. “If you are able to receive it” From Philippians 3.16 ” to the degree that you have attained, so walk ye in it. So we do.

With this in mind let us look at Galatians 3.23+ indicating that the law and the prophets were our tutors to bring us to Christ, but after faith, after the invisible comes we are no longer under the physical, visible, the law and the prophets, the tutors and toys. These are fulfilled in Christ.

This is the “when that which is perfect has come, that which is in part is done away with” in 2 Corinthians 13.10. Not a 2nd coming.. But perfect in understanding.

This is the “sown corruptible, physical, raised in-corruptible,  invisible. in the spirit of the mind.  2 Corinthians 15.42+ Not a 2nd coming of a collective bodily resurrection, but each  one in their own order, in their own time, due time, personal time.

This is like Jacobs ladder where he saw the angels of God ascending and descending. Where he called that place “Bethel” meaning “house of God”  the “gate of heaven”. Where God promised to give him that land. And who was that Ladder with Beth-el and the land having the gate to heaven and the angels of God ascending and descending? Why it was none other then Jesus Christ, He fulfilled that too.”Can you believe this?  Then “hereafter you shall see the heavens open up and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man. (John 1.51)

All things are “In Christ” and in Him is the house of God, be it called Bethel, or Shiloh, or Jerusalem, and He is the gate to heaven. This is why He could say “the Kingdom of God is at hand, right here. He is it, it is in Him. In Him all the promises of God are yes and amen to the glory of God the Father.

This is another reason why another physical Jerusalem on earth, or another coming of the man called Jesus to rule on planet earth is an unnecessary redundancy. For thinking this I destroy what the Lord accomplished in the Spirit and make myself a transgressor and a denier.

Jerusalem was already sown incorruptible, destroyed in the visible for you to acknowledge the invisible “Kingdom of God at hand” the incorruptible Jerusalem that comes from God.

You cannot see Him or His Kingdom with physical eyes that can only see this creation anyway.

It is He alone who has immortality dwelling in unapproachable light whom no man has seen or can see.  (1 Tim 6.16)

Do you now see? can you now believe? Is this your own time, due time, private time, own order?

The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Our Foundation and our City

When the signers of the Constitution of The United States of America did so, they knew that they would not enjoy the freedoms they had laid down their lives for. They sacrificed their blood for their grand children and future generations. You may say that they are the very foundations on which we stand if you are an American

This is also true of the prophets and the apostles. They were set aside last for death as Paul said and; “We have become poor so you may become rich”. The signers of the constitution did not do so for us to continue to die but to enjoy the freedoms. And this is a picture of the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Meaning those who are “in Christ”. And this is speaking not of a future state of being but one of the spirit now. We have liberties and access, or better yet “keys to the kingdom”. This is a current reality, the Kingdom.

Ephesians says that now “we are citizens and fellow members of the house hold of God having been built on the foundation of the apostles, Prophets. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone. So it is not as though we look up to that foundation as something that comes latter, but to walk on it now,  for it was laid for us to stand on it as a platform to live on.

This is what is meant when Jesus said that “all the law and the prophets were until John. He who is least in the kingdom is greater than he”.  These men gave their lives for us to enjoy “the glorious liberties as children of God”. Peter describes us as “coming to Him as living stones, chosen by God and precious

If you are “in Christ” you are in the kingdom as it states in Ephesians 2 and as we have just quoted, and from 1st Peter 2, then you are greater than the prophets and apostles in their physical state. Even as the book of Hebrews 12 talks about those who wandered the earth of whom the world was not worthy. You see 1 ounce of eternity is of grater value than the whole created realm of time and matter, EMC=square, big bang stuff. This all has an end and burns with a fiery heat, but eternity does not. So someone who is in the Kingdom is greater than all this.

This may be hard to accept if you are looking for an earthen city, or a place having physical features that you are used to seeing on earth. But Christ said many times that His Kingdom is not from here, not of this creation, not seen with eyes for this world. His Kingdom is as eternal and ubiquitous as He is. The Kingdom places and articles are features and characteristics of His very nature and make up. They were with Him in the beginning because it is Him. He comes and His reward is with Him because it is Him. He said “the Kingdom of God is at hand” because it is Him. And if we accept Him as He is now, as He appears now, as He comes now ubiquitous and invisible, He rewards us now. We are granted greater liberties into the Kingdom by the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1 talks about invisible attributes of God. That if we put these on, we put on godliness, meaning God-like-ness. In so doing we are “supplied an entrance abundantly into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”. And this does not speak of a future reward but a current reality of life in the Spirit of the living God. “To him who has, more will be given. To him who has not, even what he has will be taken”. Are you getting this?
This same place is described by John the revelator as the city that comes down from God in heaven, the true Jerusalem. Not a coming one to carnality but the one we awaken to as we seek the things above, above the foundation. All the works and words from the scriptures are to do just this. Take us to the Kingdom.

What was pictured in and culminated at with Solomon in JeruShalome, putting the ark in the Holies of the house of  God, the general assembly having been gathered to and celebrated the feasts of trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles. All the places and articles and people were assembled as one. Then the people were sent their way having been to the grand finale. It was all over to start up again the next year. We have that. That was the gospel message.
They spoke of and walked out what we have in the spirit. They played out the very nature
and characteristics of the invisible God in whom we now dwell.

What they played out on earth was sown corruptible and raised incorruptible in our hearts, mind, and spirit so that we can worship Him in Spirit and truth. Where He is as He is. For “as He is, so are we in this world”. And “We have this treasure in earthen vessels” in the here and now! That which is perfect has come to the one who has faith.

All the gifts and promises of God are as invisible and ubiquitous as He is. And the new you, the true you is just like Him for “we see Him as He is” if you can receive Him. We grow up in understanding to a perfect man, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, up into Him who is the head of the body, Jesus Christ. The same yesterday today and forever. The one who cannot become for He already was. And the Kingdom is with Him for it is Him.

The Kingdom of God is at hand.

The Quickening, being made alive, and the rapture.

In 1st Corinthians 15 Paul defines The gospel from the cross of Jesus Christ. Paul qualifies himself as the 12 born in due time as one having seen the Lord, of which is the main qualification to have seen the Lord “to take part in this ministry” (Acts 2). Paul however did not witness the physical cross and Jesus with his eyes but that of a light that shown from heaven that blinded him. The eyes of his understanding. He saw the Lord as He truly is.

Paul lays out the gospel saying “Now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the first fruits, for as “in Adam” all die, even so “In Christ” all live, but each one in their own order. First Christ, the first fruits than those at his coming, then comes the end when He delivers the Kingdom up to the Father.

The topic today is the “made alive”. From verse 22 “In Christ all live” or “all are quickened”. This comes from Strong’s # 2227 and used also in these verses.

John 5.21 As the Father raises the dead and quickens them, even so the Son quickens whomever He wants”.
Rom 4.17 God who quickens the dead and calls the things that don’t exist as though they do. (like the quickening)
Romans 8.10+ If Christ is in you the body is dead. And He who raised Christ from the dead quickens your mortal bodies by His spirit who now lives in you”.
2 Corinthians 3.6 the letter kills but the and spirit quickens.

These verses all define the “made alive” or the “quickening” not as a future event associated with a second coming but that which happens when you receive the Holy Spirit. That at one time we were like zombies but when the grace of God appears we receive that we are then quickened, we are made alive.
Now back to 1 Corinthians 15.22b “in Christ all are quickened in their own order” Have you not been quickened? Have you received Gods Holy Spirit? Rom 8 For as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are the children of God. How then is it the 2nd coming seeker gospel has taken the power out of the cross and assigned it to an event they call His 2nd coming?
Paul continues to develop this quickening and how a seed must be sown corruptible to be raised incorruptible. That the first man Adam became a human being, but the last Adam (Christ) is a life giving (quickening) spirit”.
Are we not born from Him? This is not talking about a future event on planet earth that happens to a select group of people who anticipate this quickening they define as a rapture followed by a tribulation. But “As many as are led by His spirit, these are the sons of God” having been quickened. Or are they are gonna be His offspring at a later event? I think not. It is “all are made alive in their own order, Christ, the first fruits, then those who are His when He appears (like Paul who was blinded by the light that appeared from heaven for his time had come. It was his own order) then the last enemy that is destroyed is death”
Has Christ not already done that? Didn’t He do that at the cross for you? Or does He have to do that again in the future when He comes on a white horsey? Blasphemy!

John 5.24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.  How about you?

Do you now believe? Can you now receive?  If yes then lets sacrifice this modern sacred cow at the altar of the living God,  of the 2nd coming seekers that preach of a jesus who has yet to deliver (save) his people from planet earth. They say He must do so by a humanly visible rapture seen by the carnal eyes. But it does not because it is “in the twinkling of an eye” faster than humanly discernible we have already been quickened and made alive by the working of faith (the greater works we shall do of believing in Him) and we have been catapulted past death to life. And this is from “Him who calls things that are not as that do not exist (to the human eyes) as though they do (because they are). For our corruption does put on incorruptibility as we learn to put on the new man made in His likeness. This visible puts on the invisible. His very invisible attributes. This is true godliness, god-like-ness.
Do we not put off the old person and death at baptism? Are we not then raised with Him by the working of faith? Did you then see the spirit descend on you and make you alive new by the Holy Spirit? No! All that happened in the blink of an eye as do all works of the spirit.  They are all as invisible as He. “So when this corruptible puts on incorruptible it is then that corruption puts on in-corruption for death to be swallowed up in victory because of the cross and not of a 2nd coming. And it is at our baptism that we confess this publicly. “Each in their own order” Have you done that?
Do we each then deny this article and foundation of our faith and trade it for a mausoleum of a 2nd coming as though there is only a 1st and 2nd? And that the victory is later?
Why is it the teachers today say Elijah must come? Jesus said; I tell you Elijah has come” And of the 2nd coming seekers not only believe Elijah must come but everything is later. That Jesus must come too. They reject Elijah and the Lord.  It is the spirit of Elijah even now that sacrifices the sacred cows of false prophets.  Is this your Elijah come? Can you throw that fodder of end time teachings into the fire?
If you are “in Christ”? Then the victory is now for you because of the cross, for it is not a 2nd coming gift. Are you not in His (resurrected) body? Part of the body of Christ? Or are you in a different body? A later to become lord at a later to become kingdom with a later to become victory? A different jesus.

Paul wraps up his discourse of this topic with these words in verse 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This victory was the cross that defeated death and brought immortality to light through the gospel. This is the true gospel.

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

Jesus sown corruptible Vision

The Christmas Jesus Vision

I was driving a vehicle like a golf cart. Along came this man who I would define as despicable having characteristics of every wicked person I have ever encountered. I knew this man to be evil but I also knew that I was divinely instructed to go with him against my will. I proceeded to drive backwards looking over my shoulder but then cooperating I turned the cart around to better see where I was going.. I then knew we were visiting the lower ranks in the spirit.

Having reached a building we entered into a very confusing place with many levels rooms hallways and doors. The halls reminded me of a hotel but upon looking in the rooms each wall was full of doors and I thought it strange because to me it was obvious that they didn’t go any where but into the same rooms they had already been. Kinda like a house of mirrors at a county fair but it was a place of many doors.
People were occupied with these doors and rooms with a degree of amazement without realizing that they were not going any where but where they had already been. That didn’t seem to bother them tho, but I knew it was futile.

Another important observation was that this building was cheaply made, it was rickety. It was under constructed and you could feel the floors sag as you walked and the sound was almost like a drum. It was obviously of a 2 by 4 construction or less for even the walls shook when opening and closing doors.

I proceeded to go through some halls and twists and turns and then down stairwayst to a basement that resembled a musty old house. All down the steps the condition of the people in this place got worse and worse. I knew we were going to the bottom of the building, to a pit.

Now going down the final staircase I remember stepping over people I would define as lifeless zombies like wiggling worms. Alive but dead and limp. Like a basement it was very dark, mildewy and musty. All these people were waiting in line as if to enter a movie or a play or a staged event. They had all been waiting a long time.

At the bottom of the steps the line continued and stopped at a desk that resembled a hotel check in counter that was dimly lit in front, but there was no one behind the counter. There was however a young lady waiting at the front of the line in front of the counter, sitting holding her sick child and rocking back and forth crying. This seemed to be the main event for all eyes were on her and her child. They were expecting something from this mother and child. They were part of the main event.

People were there for them with great expectation. So I was compelled to pay closer attention to them. She was obviously putting on a show, drawing attention, acting and pretending. The child however, as I looked closer, I noticed he had a mans face and he was not pretending. He was white as if he was sick and he rolled his eyes and rocked his head back and forth as if to say “get me out of here”. As I looked more intently at his body, the child clothes he had on just covered his upper half like a mask and his real legs up to his waste were in the ground. As he rolled his eyes and squirmed you could see the dirt move at his waste but he could not get up. He was held against his will and wanted nothing to do with this charade. He wanted up and out but the people were content to just watch and wait and rot in this cellar in anticipation of the main event.
Having recognizing this man held against his will and this lady pretending to be sad, I blurted out “This is a big lie and a scam! This lady is an actor! Then the vision stopped.

I have thought back on this and the building that was full of people mused with the rooms and doors with the hope that just on the other side of the next door was what they were looking for to fill their emptiness.
They were all there because of the play down stairs but they were content with the distractions and displays built above of the rickety building with many rooms of distractions and doors, until the festivities commenced down stairs. (A religion built on frail understandings of God)
They did not know they were like mice in a maze with no cheese but never the less they smiled in great pretense and stayed there in hope and expectation that at any moment for the time was imminent, that the clerk would show up at the counter downstairs and then act 2 would commence for their hope to be full.
 Implications of the Vision
I think that for most who recognize the stagnancy of the modern church and being impatient with the continual weekend charades going in and out of the same multiple doors in that rickety old place going over and over the same things week after week, but having no real power to change, that you can identify with this vision with the rooms and the doors and rumination of the same concepts over and over as you look to a baby Jesus or a second coming Jesus to bring you something to fill your desire.
This Jesus is held captive against his will. Being planted in the dirt He is sown corruptible, but never raised to Glory. But “wasn’t it necessary for Christ to suffer these things to enter His Glory?” And so He did, just not in their thinking. What a cute little man. They will not allow him to rise incorruptible to His place in prominence and Glory. He is viewed as a cute baby Jesus. How inoccuois, a Christmas Jesus. Not just an ordinary man but even more insulting a helpless little baby.
The very work and victory of the cross is lost and now redefined as something to be provided for later at a second coming or another life. That Christ died fruitless and in vain. These believers believe eroniously and unchanged, in a different Jesus then the one in scripture that gave us the power of the resurrection.
As Paul prayed that “18 the eyes of your [f]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality[g] and [h]power and [i]might and dominion, and every name that is named”.
They have a truncated gospel of select scriptures to substanciate their cause but are largely ignorant of Him who said “The Kingdom of God is at hand” but it is not in the basement, nor is it in that structure. It is in Spirit and Truth, a place that is unfamiliar to them.
It is the innocuous baby Jesus and the 2nd coming mindset that rejects the real Christ. The kingdom is already, but just not in their thinking.
Christ is in full glory in His Kingdom, in His heavenly city, on His throne waiting for you to acknowledge the truth. Just as the Jewish leaders were chided by Christ saying “you are entering into the Kingdom of God, but you are also keeping out those who are trying to enter, so your condemnation will be greater.
Are you content with a baby Christmas Jesus? Are you satisfied with a kingdom that is not yet that must come later after a tribulation and a rapture?
Beware of disregarding the eternal value of the gift of Kingdom of God as being pre existent having been finished from the foundation of the world. They twist scripture to their own musing and destruction and create an alternate reality for people to be contained, or better yet a fable and a side show of a baby Jesus to be occupied with, and a soon coming king to rescue planet earth so you can all live happily ever after when Jesus comes back to planet earth to be a king in a future kingdom called Jerusalem. And they believe that at that time their salvation will be complete and then they will be a new creation.
I guess then all that Jesus secured at his 1st coming and the cross was an “I.O.U. a kingdom” coming later to be redeemed when the imminent charade brings on the conclusion of a second coming. A phrase not found once in scripture.

Here is probably the most concise verse I can offer you right now. But the whole of scripture changes when the veil of darkness of a kingdom later dissolves from your thinking.

2 Corinthians 5:13-21New King James Version (NKJV)

13  For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14  For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15  and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

16  Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, (a man or a baby) yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is (now) a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for (and citizens from)  Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christs behalf, be reconciled to God (not in the rickety rooms or the basement but where He is in His Kingdom now). 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I don’t know how someone could read this as something actuated at a 2nd coming for it is all past tense and actuated by the working of faith.

The fact is the first words out of the mouth of the man Jesus is still our starting point with Him “today!” if you will hear His voice. And that is?

Repent! For the Kingdom of God is at hand.
