Transformed by the face of God.

1 John 3 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God![a] Therefore the world does not know us,[b] because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure”.

Now we are His children, not of a carnal nature which is why “the world does not know us”. For as it neither sees, or knows Him, we being in Him, or “in Christ” are like Him now. This is why the world cannot see us. They see our man but that is not us in Gods eye. “for even the angels in heaven see the face of the Father in these little ones. Carnal man cannot.

So when we see Him as He is, we shall be like Him. Well when does this Happen? At the illusive 2nd coming? If the world does not know us as scripture just said, what is this “us” they do not know?. I mean I go to work, I shop and get gas. I have neighbors and friends but “the world does not know us?

That is right. That part of us that is new is like Him and the world cannot see Him and that part of us that is like Him is also unseen by them because we are “a new creation”, and this “new creation” is what we put on when we see Him. And just as the world does not see Him so they cannot become Him, we do see Him, and to the degree that we do see Him, not with carnal eyes, we having eyes to see and ears to hear, these are gifts and components of the “new creation” not being flesh and bone of our Adamic nature. His gift to us is Himself, this is what we become.

It is the Adamic nature that wants to see Him in bodily form. The one who was on the cross, they would like to put their fingers in the nail prints, then they will believe for “they think they will see Him as He is, but that is a false Jesus. So you who have that silly notion? This is not for you. For if you say that you see Him and you see that, your sin will remain. Not the sins of the product of your man, but the sin of unbelief. That is the parent sin.

1st John 3.  6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins (un-believes) has neither seen Him nor known Him.

And we see Him even now in this age as He is but not with our man. He is now in His Glorified true state of eternal existence, the same yesterday, today and forever. He is not of the Adamic nature of the dust of the earth. “For the Lord is not a man that He should relent”. And we see Him how? With our physical eyes? No! This is for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear even us whom the world cannot see.

John 14. And Philip said “Lord show us the father and that will be sufficient for us”. Jesus said ” Have I been with you this long and you still do not know me? He who has seen me has seen the Father”.

And this is not a physicality like a winged creature or an orb or a visible light. No, much more than that. But we have to stop trying to see Him with our carnal senses. It is the mind of unbelief that needs proof in the world, but scripture says “Whom the world does not know”. So then as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1.18 “that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened”. This is how we know Him and see Him.

So for us to see Him as He is does not take place at some second coming of Christ when the body is dead for if you are “in Him’, that already happened by faith at baptism.

1st John 3.3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

This purification is not a religious edict that creates monks living in monasteries avoiding the things they are afraid of but takes place inside by dealing with traditions and religious garb that clogs our thinking and our ability to “see him (now) as He is. Like the concept of Christ coming a second time to do something for you He hasn’t already done. “For you are complete in Him who is the head of all power and principality. And “He has given us everything that pertains to life and god-likeness through the knowledge of Him who calls us by glory and virtue”. (2nd Peter 1.3) So those who look for Christ to complete His work at an illusive 2nd coming so they can become like Him, are looking for something they already have, or I mean they could have if they did not abide in the sin of un-beleif. Like we read here…

John 3.6 Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

So as we see Him we shall be like Him, we see Him, we know Him, we put Him on. And this is much more than just putting on the armor of God like in Ephesians 6 which cloaks us from the world,, but we put on inner workings of God, His very anatomy, and we are renewed in the spirit, mind, heart and soul. Our invisibleness.

And this all takes place where? In front of the mirror.

2nd Corinthians 3.18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

You thought I was making this up. It is not at the second coming beyond a supposed rapture that you are transformed. That belief is a form of denying Christ.

The word “transform” come from the Greek “metamorphosis” and is used twice in scripture. At Christs transfiguration and our transfiguration in the mirror, as we just read. I don’t think the author (God) meant to separate this as being different. Meaning as Christ was transfigured or metamorphosed we too do the same. Where? In the here and now in the mirror of His word by His Spirit, “because as He is so are we in the world” (1st John 4.14) This is for us who believe. We have been quickened and we have been seated. You just need to learn to believe and put it on. This is about those of us whom the “world cannot see”.

2nd Corinthians 4.3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 6 For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

You get that? This face whom no man can see and live can see is seen “In the face of Jesus Christ”. Who said “he who has seen me has seen the Father” Meaning not a man with long hair dressed in a fitted sheet and sandles, but “he who has seen me” sees the invisible working of God” We see His anatomy and His invisible works with “unveiled face beholding (seeing) the Glory of the Lord (as He is) are being transformed from the glory to the glory. We see God in the face of Christ and are transformed into them, God and Christ by the Spirit. We are in Them, They are in us We are one in Them in Glory. This is our transfiguration. Not into a new carnality, but from the Glory to the Glory. And as the disciples said “Lord it is good for us to be here, let us make an altar here for you Moses and Elijah. There are no physical structures here for they all detain.

We turn into what we behold. If Jesus has to finish something for us at a second coming then He is not done. If He is not done, He is not Glorified. If He is not Glorified we cannot share in His glory till He is. If he is not glorified we cannot “behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” and there is no transformation apart from the glory that is why it is “from glory to glory” or “from the glory to the Glory, you become glorious through this transformation. If not you are still in your sins. You are blinded by the God of this age who would love to detain you. The transfiguration is in the here and now. We see Him as He truly is. We see Him face to face but not a carnal face. We want to transform from what we were to what He is. As Paul says that we don’t want to be found naked, (like those who wait), but to be further clothed in immortality. To Lay hold of why Christ laid hold of us. Eternal glory.

For we are not seen hiding ourselves with clothes of fabric or cloaked with degrees and diplomas of this age but clothed with the righteousness of Christ. Unlike the Levites who kept the temple, were clothed in a pure white that radiated, only having a form of holiness, we are clothed not in a white of radiance but the clear/ invisible to the carnal eye righteousness of Christ. We are clothed in Him because we see Him as He is only because we are in Him, we see Him as He is because we see from the inside out.

Romans 8.28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Where are you in this process? Are you waiting for the man Jesus to come and do this for you?

The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Repetitious patterns and cycles

We mentioned in previous articles that the purpose of the church,  meaning “the called out ones, is the same purpose as the general assemble or festive gathering of the Israelite’s. It is to learn and apply, or put on the truths practiced through the repetitious patterns and cycles, which are designed to bring us to a full knowledge of Christ.. “Till we all reach the full stature of the son of God”

The repetitious patterns and cycles were the acts and the observances that can become redundant and un-profitable, like the Sabbath, the Passover, baptism, and so on. These are the things we do to understand eternal realities. Israel (a people and not a place) did the feasts and all the hoopla that went along with it and lost sight of the fact they were doing those things to learn truths about the Kingdom they were called into. They thought doing those things pleased God but they learned nothing.

They were still waiting for the King man Jesus to come to Jerusalem. They had their own form of eschatology and Christ rejected any notion of being crowned on earth stating “my kingdom is not from here, if it was I would call a band of legions and they would fight.
The whole gospel message is for us to return to the Father, not Him to come here. He already did that so that through His Son. “The hour is coming and now is when you will no longer worship in Jerusalem, for God is spirit and He is truth and He seeks such to worship Him.  Jesus said “follow me that where I am you may be also” And He prayed “that they may be one as You Father are in Me, and I in You, that they may be one in Us”. And  “I am no longer in the world but these are in the world, keep in Your name those whom you have given me that they may be one as we are one”. And “Father, I desire  that they whom you have given Me may be where I am, that they may behold My glory”.
You have to start confessing and believing these truths to realize them. His precious blood didn’t buy us a ticket at a bus stop to depart for a kingdom some 2000 years later. We are not waiting for Him to come and help us, He did that. He has given us everything that pertains to life and godlikeness by these precious promises having already delivered us from the corruption that is in the world. We have been quickened, translated and seated next to Him. And if these words are from the scriptures they are more true than all the earthly facts. Facts and dates are enmity against God. He is not in a time capsule, the old man is. But there are portholes.

Our Transfiguration and looking at the face of God in the mirror of the spirit
We all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror are being transfigured into the same full image (unless our mind sees Jesus a mere man) from glory to glory by the spirit of God. He is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to bring to light the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”.(can you see Him?)” He who has seen Me has seen the father”
This all happens in the here and now. Our transformation is the process of knowing Him, NOW. We see Him as He is and we become like Him, now, TODAY if you will hear His voice.

To put all this off till a second coming stops Him from working in us. We reject His Holy Spirit, our mirror. (Wis of Solomon 7.26 and 2 Cor 3.18) for our old man is dead symbolized by the repetitious pattern of baptism, and when we come up it symbolizes being resurrected now, today, not at some rapture. This is the main teaching in Romans. And if we are raised and a new creation then we have eyes to see and ears to hear. We can see the true light. Not the sun but the light that shines into the heart of every man. The baptisms and Lords supper and the Sabbath  are the repetitious patterns that are designed to take us to the Father as Paul pleaded. “Be ye reconciled!” Are the patterns working at your church?

Dressing the part, putting on Christ

Having put off the old man by faith,we are to put on Christ by faith. Meaning more than just the armor of God. If we do not accept His gifts and put them on we shall be found naked. But i want to continue being swallowed by immortality as I grow in Him.
Do not wait for a second coming. That is a faithless act. We put on His righteousness like new flesh. His bones are truths. We are bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh, now by faith. His words are Immovable un-shakeable, more solid than granite or any other earthly composition. That is what He is and as We see Him like this we see Him as He is and we become like Him.in the spirit of our mind. You don’t keep the flesh any way  Jn 3.2 beloved now we are the children of God, as He is revealed in the spirit of our mind, we see Him as He is for we shall be like Him. When? When we wake up to these truths. Isaiah 52 Awake, Awake! Put on your strength, put on your beautiful garments, shake yourself from the dust of the earth”.
These gifts are activated by faith. As you see them, you accept them, you become them. This is the transfiguration, your transfiguration, to see Him as in a mirror seeing “the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, you see God face to face, but not with the carnal eye.
So what is Gods heart about fruitless repetitions we do in His name?
“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices. I have had enough burnt offerings, Why do you trample my courts? Your new moons and feasts My soul hates. They are trouble to me, I am weary of them”.Isaiah 1.10-15.   They were just repetitious cycles with no transformation.
Israel was judged for not understanding this. If church does not facilitate this they have left their calling. They are not entering nor allowing those who are trying to do so. “In vain they worship Me with their lips but teach my commands as doctrine of men”.
Walking with God, following His voice
Walking by faith is like walking backwards following the voice of God. Abraham went out not knowing where he was going, and this was accounted as faith. (Heb 11.8). When we enter the Kingdom we can only describe where we’ve been. Like a kid looking out the back window of a car ride. Dad knows where He’s going. I can explain them to you but you have to confess these things and start walking backwards. It is easier to wait for a second coming but one has to ignore the voice.
B.T.W. the term second coming is not found once in scripture. I am not saying He is not coming. I am saying He is coming now. In the 1st, 2nd and 3rd watch. And His reward is with Him to give to each according to their faith. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If you sup with Me and eat my flesh and drink my blood you will become like Me. My body was broken down in small portions for you to spiritually digest. My words are spirit and they are life.
When the God spoke, Let there be light, did it take 2000 years? When He said “rise! take up your bed and walk” or “Lazarus come forth” did He not walk, did he not rise immediately?
We have to believe His word or our faith is in vain. Heb 12.25 see then that you do not refuse Him who speaks from heaven, for if they did not escape who refused him who spoke on earth, how much more shall we not escape. Let us not reject such a great salvation. The Exodus is in full swing. The Kingdom of God is preached and men are forcing their way in.
John in the book of Revelation had discourse with an angel He supposed to br Christ. As John started to bow before this one He was stopped by the angel who said “see that you don’t do that, For I am jsut one of your brothers of those who keep the testimony of Jesus Christ”
This one looked like Christ but was not Him but was in all appearances like Christ, but not because of a beard and saddles, but heavenly attire. The question is, How was this one able to put on christ before a so called rapture and second coming? I mean he is totally out of order.
The Kingdom of God is at hand.
