If you are still looking to the Physical Realm and planet Earth for the manifestation of the kingdom of God you are going to be sorely disappointed. Why? Because “Eye Has Not Seen Nor Ear heard of the things that God has prepared for those who love him, but God has revealed them to us by his spirit.”
1 Corinthians 2
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his (Holy) Spirit: for the (Holy( Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the (Holy) Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the (Holy) Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the (Holy) Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
It was as the Apostle Paul grew in understanding this invisible reality of God in the spirit that he could say in Ephesians 2.19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Paul was speaking not of a kingdom in the future, but a current reality even in his day. So it behooves us to strive to attain to this same realization through seccesive revelations brought to us by the Word with the illumination of the Holy Spirit.
This is our duty to God, and His work In us now. It is the invisible work of the Holy Spirit. Scripture saying previously “for a short work the Lord will do on earth. And He will cut it short in righteousness” (Romans 9.28). And so He did. He cut it short in righteousness. How? By fulfilling the requirements of the law for all who believe, to expire the old covenant. Even as peter said of the prophets of old “it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven” showing something New, different from the old. Enter the New Covenant era, and there will be no 3rd covenant to do something we can’t do now.
Now God is assembling us to Himself with New Covenant realities, for “a habitation of God in the spirit”. For He is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shown in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of God in the face of Christ.” It is in our hearts this light shines. This is the elements God works with today. And it is to bring to light our transformation steps through successive these revelations for us to arrive there and fulfill the words of Christ where He said “Father I desire that those you have given Me, may be with Me where I am”. He is the way to the Father. If we are “in Christ” and so we are, we are with the Father even now. Surprised? Isn’t that what Paul preached? I beg you by the mercies of God be he reconciled to the Father. For He made Him who knew no sin, to become sin for us to become Gods righteousness in Him”. By faith that is where we are.
