If you are still looking to the Physical Realm and planet Earth for the manifestation of the kingdom of God you are going to be sorely disappointed. Why? Because “Eye Has Not Seen Nor Ear heard of the things that God has prepared for those who love him, but God has revealed them to us by his spirit.”

1 Corinthians 2

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his (Holy) Spirit: for the (Holy( Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the (Holy) Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the (Holy) Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the (Holy) Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

It was as the Apostle Paul grew in understanding this invisible reality of God in the spirit that he could say in Ephesians 2.19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Paul was speaking not of a kingdom in the future, but a current reality even in his day. So it behooves us to strive to attain to this same realization through seccesive revelations brought to us by the Word with the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

This is our duty to God, and His work In us now. It is the invisible work of the Holy Spirit. Scripture saying previously “for a short work the Lord will do on earth. And He will cut it short in righteousness” (Romans 9.28). And so He did. He cut it short in righteousness. How? By fulfilling the requirements of the law for all who believe, to expire the old covenant. Even as peter said of the prophets of old “it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven” showing something New, different from the old. Enter the New Covenant era, and there will be no 3rd covenant to do something we can’t do now.

Now God is assembling us to Himself with New Covenant realities, for “a habitation of  God in the spirit”. For He is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shown in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of God in the face of Christ.” It is in our hearts this light shines.  This is the elements God works with today. And it is to bring to light our transformation steps through successive these revelations for us to arrive there and fulfill the words of Christ where He said “Father I desire that those you have given Me, may be with Me where I am”. He is the way to the Father. If we are “in Christ” and so we are, we are with the Father even now. Surprised? Isn’t that what Paul preached? I beg you by the mercies of God be he reconciled to the Father. For He made Him who knew no sin, to become sin for us to become Gods righteousness in Him”. By faith that is where we are.

God did a work in 6 days then ceased. But during Christ’s incarnation  He said “I and the Father are working’ showing the work in the Spirit. They were working’ but not creating. Creation was finished the 6th day. The spirit work now is birthing offspring “by the Word of truth to be a kind of first-fruits of His creation”. As Paul said of those in Galatia “of whom I labor again till Christ is formed in you” showing his participation in this work. Even as Christ said in the Gospel of John 3.5 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (because only spirit can enter) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” We blow in and out of the Kingdom.

Unlike those birthed in a physical form from Adam and Eve. The Spirit is the new work of God called “the New creation”. Or better yet “the newly created. You say, huh? Yes! Even as Paul said “you are a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away, all things have become new, and all things are of Christ”. Yes! All things are of Christ because all of us who are new are “bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh” being bones of solid doctrine, and flesh of His attributes. Yes, we are clothed in Christ’s righteousness. He is our covering. A righteousness the law could only allude to.

Even Peter talks about this saying “you are living stones Chosen and precious, being built together a habitation of God in the spirit’. Is this something you saw happen with your carnal eyes? So if Christ is the Chief Cornerstone whom the builders rejected” back then, what should be your mindset today? Have you been built together a habitation of God in the spirit? Are you a participant of the kingdom come down of God from heaven? Then you have been born from above.

You see, we must more accurately understand what the work of God is, lest we participate of a different building project. You do know that there are those today who still reject that same Chief Cornerstone? That they look to another Chief Cornerstone? That they are hell-bent on assembling a city and a building for God in Jerusalem on Earth today?

You see even Christ when question by Pilate the High Priest  about the kingdom Christ said “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” If Christ’s kingdom “cometh not with observation”, and His kingdom “is not of this age”, then we have to choose which kingdom we partake with. We need to understand the building project that we are apart of has nothing to do with the 6 days of work of creation and all its byproducts from the beginning to the end. And if Christ withstood those then who thought His Kingdom would appear, would His words or behavior be favorable to you for believing the same thing? If you said Yes, He would owe them an apology.

It was the writer of Hebrews who authored this scripture,22 but ye have come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect”. Can you reread this and personalize it as though you authored it? If you can say yes to this, you are counted with the elect. However if you cannot, you are stuck somewhere in your journey, or you are reject the New Reality God has given us.

It is in this way that the kingdom of God is at hand. Why do you keep looking down here?
