As Christ went through Jerusalem some called out to Him as being “The Son of David”. But I thought that Salomon was the son of David. I mean after all scripture said David’s son would build the kingdom, and Salomon did that. Or did He?

Solomon built a replica of the Kingdom but the Lord said of David that “he did well that it was in His heart to build God a Kingdom”. That is the place it is built. In the heart. Even as the law affirms “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:”

So the true Kingdom of God, was not something for a man built by man but a scripting of things in the heart, our invisible part and not the thing that goes thump thump.. Even as the law states that as soon as you fashion a brick with any tools, the building project has been defiled. (Exodus 20) Mans contribution of any sort is a corrupt contribution. Just ask Uzzah. And because “flesh and blood does not inherit the Kingdom”, flesh and blood cannot participate in the building project anymore than an ant can make a high rise in New York City for humanity.

The Lord said “as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than you ways.” His Kingdom that “cometh not with observation”,  is unnoticeable to the human senses of sight and sound.  “All the heavens cannot contain Him” so He cannot be reduced to a point and place in time as though there is a place for Him yet to be as though He isn’t there yet for He is “the One who fills all and all”. He is “the One who was and is and is to come, the almighty (all mighty, all knowing, all consuming) everywhere all the time. The “lol I am with you always” and not “the one who was and is not yet”. The one some are yet looking for in the future is the false Christ.

Any such building project that is put between you and the finished works of Gods Son is wicked and adulterous and in rejection of Him. Even as Paul said of the Jews “when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man.

A man God is not. A man the Son is not. He is the pre-existent Word that became flesh temporarily then transfigured. He need not a structure or a city on planet earth but calls us to be with Him where He is in Spirit and Truth.
