THE PURPOSE OF THE GOSPEL – The name Jesus, is from Iēsous, Joshua and Yeshua, and means "salvation" The meaning is more important then the spelling. So we call Him The Christ.

Â Â Â Â Â Â The purpose of the Gospel is to enter the Kingdom Now!

The Jewish leaders in the time of Christ were chided by Him saying “you are not entering the Kingdom, not only that, you are not allowing those to enter who are trying to do so”. They could enter then as we can now. The kingdom of God is now!

The whole purpose and the sole purpose ofÂ the gospelÂ is to get people into the Kingdom of God now. To be reconciled now. Not just a saying or a document but an eternal reality. All the work of Christ had no other purpose then reconciliation. “Be ye reconciled” A second comingÂ doesn’tÂ do this,Â the gospelÂ does, for the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Unto. It takes you all the way there, to theÂ presenceÂ of God in Christ.Â

Well we ask, why then do we look to the second coming? The second coming is not in scripture. He is always coming, appearing and being revealed to the mind of spirit by faith. The culmination of the age is not the actuating of the word of God. Faith is.

Romans 1.^16ÂFor I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,^[a]Â for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.Â ^17ÂFor in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,Â â€œThe just shall live by faithÂ

Faith is the eternal substance that pleases God. The evidence of the things not seen by the carnal nature. That which will be already was, and this too is the placed for the called, the ekklesia, (we translate church). This place which is actually a who, and that who is… the one we know as Jesus Christ. In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead body, and we are complete “in Him” who is the head of all principalities and power. He governs all in His full Glory now a reining King of kings and Lord of lords, not a future one at a second coming. That is un-faith, the sin of unbelief, denying His eternal attributes andÂ existence. Repent from that foolish mind set and receive the truth.

The purpose of this article and every article here is to enter the Kingdom of God and explore His greater reality. The kingdom is at hand now, and this is theÂ eternal gospel,Â as much so as it was in the beginning. “The kingdomÂ preparedÂ from theÂ foundations of the world.” Mt 25.34 Heb 4.3

You see when God rested on the 7th or Sabbath day, He rested from His works. He went back to where He came, the before time and matter of the 6 days of creation that occupies our flesh. And it is in this place we are called to and rest “in Him” the trueÂ SabbathÂ that all othersÂ mimic. This is the home for those of faith.Â NotÂ just a focus once a week or a thing at a second coming. This place is everything that is not created. The only thing that matters is there. Everything else is being shaken.Â

You see nothing of God can be pin pointed to a place in time for it exists outside of time and is everywhere, being ubiquitous. That is why when theÂ temporaryÂ is removed the eternal remains because that is what was there the whole time. This is real, this is aÂ faithfulÂ and true witness. This is what isÂ substantial. The substance ofÂ non-substance being more durable and enduring than the hardest elements on any planet of all creation. Â

Hebrews 4.4Â Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.Â 2Â For indeedÂ theÂ gospelÂ was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,[a]Â not being mixed with faith in those who heardÂ it.3Â For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

â€œSo I swore in My wrath,
â€˜They shall not enter My rest,â€™â€[b]

although theÂ works were finished from the foundation of the world.Â 4Â For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventhÂ dayÂ in this way:Â â€œAnd God rested on the seventh day from all His worksâ€;Â [c]Â 5Â and again IN THIS PLACE:Â â€œThey shall not enter My rest.â€[d] Â Not a Saturday or a Sunday service, but the true Sabbath but eternityÂ

6Â Since therefore it remains thatÂ someÂ mustÂ enterÂ it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, (unbelief)

So the Sabbath is another name for eternity and is also understood as being “in Christ” for He is our Sabbath. He said come unto Me all who are weary and need rest. This is that. Not something some day in a future time pin pointed on planet earth. That is silly.

Revelation 22.10Â And he said to me,Â â€œDo not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand (NOWÂ not a second coming)

12Â â€œAnd behold, I am coming quickly, (immediately and consecutively) and My rewardÂ isÂ with Me, (the fullness of the Godhead and it’s body) to give to every one according to his work.” Not of flesh but faith right now. If you can believe you can receive right now. Be it according to your faith.Â

James 5.8-9 “The coming of the Lord is at hand” (immediately and consecutively) “The judge is standing at the door”.Â

Christ’s coming being “Immanent” was not designed to keep us on good behavior like for parents who want to keep their kids good while they are gone not knowing when the’re coming back be it a day a week a month or a year. He is not gone that He needs to come back. You just need to wake up from the Adamic deep sleep passed on to all humanity having senses that sleep to things of the spirit. Quit believing those eyes and awaken the eyes of your understanding. Be of those who have “eyes to see and ears to hear.”Â

“Abraham rejoiced to see my day and saw it and was glad.” Do you see it? Do you see Him? Do you see them? Abraham did. And it is this faith that He is a father of. Â He believed God not for a second coming but the reality of realities. The before time Kingdom of God. He saw “the Lords day”. Â The day others call the second coming.

And as Christ spoke to His disciples in Matthew 16.Â ^28Ââ€œAssuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.â€ This was 2000 years ago, not at a second coming. They saw Him coming in His Kingdom back then. Immediately and consecutively. Do you see this? Â “To him who hears, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches”

1 Corinthians 2.6Â Â WeÂ speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.Â 7Â But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hiddenÂ wisdomÂ which God ordained before the ages for our glory,Â 8Â which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.Â

9Â But as it is written:

â€œEye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.â€[c]

10Â But God has revealedÂ (by epiphany)Â themÂ to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.Â 11Â For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.Â 12Â Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, butÂ the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13Â These things we also speak, not in words which manâ€™s wisdom teaches but which the Holy[d]Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.Â 14Â But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he knowÂ them,Â because they are spiritually discerned.Â 15Â But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself isÂ rightlyÂ judged by no one.Â 16Â ForÂ â€œwho has known the mind of the LordÂ that he may instruct Him?â€[e]Â But we have the mind of Christ.Â

The mind of Christ being before the Word was spoken, where the Word and Spirit originate. This is the place of Gods eternal rest in Himself where we are by being “in Christ” the place of our calling, the purpose of all scripture. To be here.Â

John 17.24Â â€œFather, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

This being spoken by the one who said “let there be light” and there was. Said these words not in vain. He is the way, the truth and the life. This is the glory that transforms.

We are called not to focus on the end like a second coming but…

1 John 1.That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of lifeâ€”Â 2Â the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to usâ€”Â 3Â that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowshipÂ isÂ with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.Â 4Â And these things we write to you that your[a]Â joy may be full.

Take your eyes off a second coming lest the truth pass you by.

The Kingdom of God is at hand.
