The Cornerstone And Body of Christ
The Body of Christ, erroneously called the “church” could not be simplified and understood any better then this quote right here from Ephesians 2.19-22.
And as it was written that Christ “only spoke to the people in parables and without a parable spake He not to the people”. So that this “Holy Temple” does NOT take on earthen elements to build this temple because it “is founded upon the Apostles” (as living stones) with the Prophets as gateways, of which Christ is already the cornerstone. As it is written “the Rock the (jewish) builders rejected Has become the Chief cornerstone and this is a marvelous work in our eyes of understanding.” To infer that any other such presentation if another jewish temple or any brick or any physical structure at all, is as blasphemous as the one in the days of Christ in flesh, the one that drew the distian from the Godhead body, which itself is that Temple.
So that those who even today, who equate any kind of holiness to their churches or elaborate physical temples, are committing the same form of spiritual adultery because just as various species cannot cross bread, that the “church” being physical as a holy place in scriptural terms is blasphemy. Even as YHYH God told Moses. “When you build a temple for Me? As soon as you use man hewn stones fir it? You have defiled it. DO NOT ASSOCIATEME WITH SUCH!”
That is why Christ had openly declared to His disiple Peter, from Petros in Greek means rock at the onset of The New Will and Testsment. He said “and I say to you Peter, upon this rock (of truth) I will assemble my Ekklesia.” And the “rock Christ was referring to their was that truth. And that truth was Peter’s response to the question, “who do men say that I am? And Peter’s reply was you are the Christ and Son if the living God.” Also showing us the composition of our rocks are words being break down of Word itself being the Son first, and as we assemble these words, and truths in ourself, our invisible selves, we become cells of the body of Living Stones, so that “wherever two or more are gathered in My name? There am I in theirmidst (among them)?”
This is The Cheif cornerstone the builders rejected and his members. Be NOT deceived. “Flesh and bone dies NOT inherit the Kingdom.” But the respirited mind of faith does.
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles (in our era of The Gentiles)— 2 if indeed you have heard of the [a]dispensation (being the time frame after the Law ) of the grace of God, which was given to me to give to you, 3 how that by (a new) revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,) 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery (of The Body) of Christ), 5 which in previous ages (to include the Law era) was not made known to the sons of men (meaning to all nations), as it is now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles:”
Just as Christ spoke in parables, the Old Covenant before it was expired, walked out the same truths with physical look alike called toys for “children in the wilderness) as they were called.
And to take this one step further, this statement replaced the Old Covenant Law and Jews saying from Ephesians 3.1-5
“For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles (that includes Jews but only as just another people from the pool of nations— 2 if indeed you have heard of the [a]dispensation of the grace (in effect after the Law Old Covenant) of God which was given to me to give to you (Gentiles) 3 how that by (a new revelation Christ made known to me) the mystery as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of (The Body of) Christ), 5 which in the previous ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed (to us) by His Spirit and to His holy apostles: (“To mean all the Law and the Prophets were till John the Baptist. Now the Kingdom is preached for all to enter. Have you correctly responded to this offer?
Do not be like the foolish virgins called to the Wedding Feast, who in turn went to the world for their wedding attire. Upon returning to the wedding and hear the Master of the Wedding say to them “department from Me you workers of inequity for you are not mindful of the things of God but csrnsl men.”
Yes, the preservation of self. For even scripture says “for those who want to save their lives will loose it. But those who loose their lives for My sake? Have life Eternal?
This is The Kingdom of God at hand. “Wherever two or more of us assemble to truths. Amen!
